Bank of Japan's M2 and M3 Money Supply Higher Than Expected |

(CEP News) - The Bank of Japan said M2 money supply rose 1.0% year over year in August, higher than expectations for a 0.9% increase and higher than last month's 0.8% increase.
Turning to M3 money supply, this also increased above forecasts to 2.4% against the expectation for a 2.1% increase, which matched July's recorded 2.1% increase. By Megan Ainscow,
