Japan's Cash Reserves Drop by US$11.8 Billion in April |

(CEP News) - Japan's Ministry of Finance announced on Friday that official reserves declined in April to US$1003.8 billion from March's total of US$1015.6 billion.
Foreign currency reserves also dropped in April to $977.51 billion from March's figure of $987.67 billion. The IMF reserve position dropped to $1.38 billion from $1.40 billion while Special Drawing Rights (SDRs) fell to $3.14 billion from $3.18 billion. Gold reserves also lost ground, sliding to $21.43 billion from $22.97 billion. By Steve Stecyk,
