New Zealand's Terms of Trade Fall Less Than Forecast |

(CEP News) - New Zealand terms of trade declined 2.3% in the third quarter, above expectations for a 2.6% decline.
Second quarter terms of trade were upwardly revised to -0.4% from -0.5%, Statistics New Zealand said on Wednesday (Tuesday night EST). The report said merchandise export prices rose 8.6% in the third quarter, while import prices rose 11.1%. The services terms of trade figure fell by 4.9%, with services export prices up by 2.6% and import prices up 7.9%. By Megan Ainscow,
