(CEP News) - Retail sales in New Zealand fell by 0.8% month over month despite forecasts for a 0.3% fall. The prior figure for June was upwardly revised to +1.0% from +0.9%
Retail sales ex-autos decreased by 0.2%, despite expectations for a 0.3% increase and in line with June's downwardly revised -0.2% figure. On an annual basis, retail sales increased 2.5%, and retail sales ex-autos increased 2.9%. By Megan Ainscow,
