Australian Manufacturing Sector Sees Slight Improvement in September |

(CEP News) - The Australian manufacturing sector saw mild improvement in September with AiG's performance of manufacturing index increasing to 47.2 in September from 47.0 in August.
The new orders index increased to 44.3 from August's 43.2 while the employment index fell to 46.0 from 48.2. The production index rose to 48.7 from August's 47.4. The index of input prices increased to 82.3 from 81.8 in August. By Megan Ainscow,
