(CEP News) - According to the Australian Bureau of Statistics on Thursday (Wednesday night EDT), new motor vehicle sales declined 3.2% month-over-month in March.
February's figure was revised to a loss of 4.0% from a 3.5% decline. Meanwhile, annual sales decreased by 22.6%, after falling by a revised 18.8% in the prior month. Passenger vehicles sales moved down 5.4% month-over-month, while sport utility vehicle sales declined 2.9%. However, "other" vehicle sales rose 3.1% in the month. By Nick Say,
