CBI Distributive Trades Survey at -26 in April |

(CEP News) Frankfurt - According to data from the Confederation of British Industry's distributive trades survey, the month-over-month sales balance came in at -26 in April, down from both March's figure of +1 and the expected balance figure of -3.
Looking at the three-month moving average, the balance of sales fell to -9 from +1 in the previous month and down from the expected figure of +2. The durable household goods sector saw the most severe deficit at -87 in April while the footwear and leather sector saw the highest surplus with a reading of +37. By Todd Wailoo,
