French Wages Rise Less than Expected in Q3 |

(CEP News) Frankfurt - Wages in France rose on average 0.7% in the third quarter of 2008 compared to the previous quarter, down from both the 0.8% growth rate expected and Q2's monthly rise of 0.9%, according to preliminary estimates from the French National Employment Agency.
In a report issued on Friday, the employment agency said that wages in the industrial sector excluding construction (+0.6%) rose 0.6% in Q3, with the service sector wages rising 0.7%. By Todd Wailoo,
