(CEP News) - The sole tier-one data release on tap for Tuesday is euro zone producer price inflation for October.
On an annualized basis, producer prices are predicted to have risen 7.0% in October, down from September's 7.9% gain. Month-over-month, the producer price index is expected to have shrunk by 0.3% in October, deepening the 0.2% contraction from August to September. Nationwide consumer confidence in the UK is expected to show a drop in November's report. Economists expect confidence to fall to a reading of 54 following October's level of 55. The UK will also see how the construction sector is coping in the current downturn with the release of the UK Construction PMI, which is expected to fall to a reading of 33.5, down from the prior month's 35.1 level.
