U.S. Regional and State Unemployment Data Show Little Change |

(CEP News) - There were minor changes in Regional and State unemployment rates in 28 states, the District of Columbia reported decreases, 14 states saw increases and 8 remained unchained, said the Bureau of Labor and Statistics.
The national unemployment was 5.00% in April, slightly lower than the 5.1 % March rate. Nonfarm payrolls rose in 10 states plus the District of Columbia, but fell in 39 states, and remained static in one state. By Steve Stecyk,
