EUR/USD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.1290; (P) 1.1338; (R1) 1.1366; More

EUR/USD’s fall accelerates to as low as 1.1262 so far today and intraday bias stays on the downside. Sustained break of 1.1289 long term fibonacci level will carry larger bearish implication. Next target will be 161.8% projection of 1.1908 to 1.1523 from 1.1691 at 1.1068. On the upside, above 1.1384 minor resistance will turn intraday bias neutral first. But outlook will remain bearish as long as 1.1523 support turned resistance holds.

In the bigger picture, there are various ways of interpreting the fall from 1.2348 (2021 high). It could be a correction to rise from 1.0635 (2020 low), the fourth leg of a sideway pattern from 1.0339 (2017 low), or resuming long term down trend. In any case, outlook will now stay bearish as long as 1.1703 support turned resistance holds. Sustained break of 61.8% retracement of 1.0635 to 1.2348 at 1.1289 would pave the way back to 1.0635.

EUR/USD Mid-Day Outlook

Range trading continues in EUR/USD and intraday bias remains neutral for the moment. On the downside, break of 1.1185 will resume larger decline from 1.2348. Next target is 161.8% projection of 1.2265 to 1.1663 from 1.1908 at 1.0934. On the upside, firm break of 1.1382 resistance should confirm short term bottoming at 1.1186. Intraday bias will be turned back to the upside for 55 day EMA (now at 1.1405) and above.

EUR/USD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.1099; (P) 1.1127; (R1) 1.1142; More

Intraday bias in EUR/USD remains neutral as consolidation form 1.1199 is still extending. Further rally will remain in favor as long as 1.1039 support holds. On the upside, above 1.1199 will turn bias back to the upside for 100% projection of 1.0879 to 1.1179 from 1.0981 at 1.1281 next. However, break of 1.1039 will turn focus back to 1.0981 support instead.

In the bigger picture, rebound from 1.0879 is seen as a corrective move first. In case of another rise, upside should be limited by 38.2% retracement of 1.2555 to 1.0879 at 1.1519. And, down trend from 1.2555 (2018 high) would resume at a later stage. However, sustained break of 1.1519 will dampen this bearish view and bring stronger rise to 61.8% retracement at 1.1915 next.

EUR/USD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.1710; (P) 1.1736 (R1) 1.1784; More

EUR/USD’s pull back from 1.1908 is still in progress and intraday bias remains on the downside At this point, we’d expect strong support from 38.2% retracement of 1.1119 to 1.1908 at 1.1606 to bring rebound. But break of 1.1908 is needed to confirm up trend resumption. Otherwise, more consolidation would be seen in near term. Meanwhile, sustained break of 1.1606 would bring deeper pull back to 61.8% retracement at 1.1420.

In the bigger picture, an important bottom was formed at 1.0339 on bullish convergence condition in weekly MACD. Sustained break of 55 month EMA (now at 1.1760) will pave the way to key fibonacci level at 38.2% retracement of 1.6039 (2008 high) to 1.0339 (2017 low) at 1.2516. While rise from 1.0339 is strong, there is no confirmation that it’s developing into a long term up trend yet. Hence, we’ll be cautious on strong resistance from 1.2516 to limit upside. But for now, medium term outlook will remain bullish as long as 1.1295 support holds, in case of pull back.

Intraday bias in EUR/USD remains neutral at this point as range trading continues. On the downside, below 1.0899 minor support will turn bias back to the downside for 61.8% projection of 1.2265 to 1.1120 from 1.1494 at 1.0786. However, firm break of 1.1120 will confirm short term bottoming at 1.0805. Bias will be back on the upside for 55 day EMA (now at 1.1178) and above.

In the bigger picture, the decline from 1.2348 (2021 high) is expected to continue as long as 1.1494 resistance holds. Firm break of 1.0635 (2020 low) will raise the chance of long term down trend resumption and target a retest on 1.0339 (2017 low) next. Nevertheless, break of 1.1494 will maintain medium term neutral outlook, and extending term range trading first.

EUR/USD Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.0773; (P) 1.0806; (R1) 1.0825; More

EUR/USD decline is still in progress and intraday bias stays on the downside for 200% projection of 1.1172 to 1.0992 from 1.1095 at 1.0735 next. On the upside, above 1.0861 minor resistance will turn intraday bias neutral and bring consolidations first. But recovery should be limited well below 1.0992 support turned resistance to bring fall resumption.

In the bigger picture, down trend from 1.2555 (2018 high) has just resumed and prior rejection by 55 week EMA affirms medium term bearishness. Sustained break of 78.6% retracement of 1.0339 (2017 low) to 1.2555 at 1.0813 will pave the way to retest 1.0339 low. For now, outlook will remain bearish as long as 1.1239 resistance holds, in case of strong rebound.

EUR/USD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.1243; (P) 1.1284; (R1) 1.1308; More…..

EUR/USD’s fall from 1.1448 resumed by breaking 1.1273 temporary low. Intraday bias is turned back to the downside fro retesting 1.1176 low. Decisive break there will resume whole decline from 1.2555. On the upside, however, break of 1.1331 minor resistance will turn bias back to the upside for 1.1448 instead.

In the bigger picture, medium term outlooks is a bit mixed for now as there are conflicting signals. We’ll turn neutral first. On the downside, decisive break of 61.8% retracement of 1.0339 (2016 low) to 1.2555 (2018 high) at 1.1186 will resume the whole down trend from 1.2555. Next target will be 1.0339 low. Nevertheless, break of 1.1569 resistance should confirm medium term bottoming. Stronger rebound should be seen back to 38.2% retracement of 1.2555 to 1.1176 at 1.1703. In that case, the structure of the rise from 1.1176 and reaction to 1.1703 fibonacci level will be watched for making an assessment on whether medium term trend has reversed, or rebound form 1.1176 is merely a correction.

EUR/USD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.0669; (P) 1.0687; (R1) 1.0703; More

EUR/USD is staying in consolidation above 1.0610 temporary low and intraday bias remains neutral. Risk stays on the downside with 1.0803 resistance intact. On the downside, break of 1.0610 will resume the corrective fall from 1.1032 and 38.2% retracement of 0.9534 to 1.1032 at 1.0463. Strong support should be seen around there to bring rebound, at least on first attempt.

In the bigger picture, the rally from 0.9534 low (2022 low) is a medium term up trend rather than a correction. Further rise is in favor to 61.8% retracement of 1.2348 (2021 high) to 0.9534 at 1.1273 next. This will remain the favored case as long as 1.0482 support holds.

EUR/USD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.0962; (P) 1.0981 (R1) 1.1015; More….

Intraday bias in EUR/USD remains on the upside. Current rise would target 100% projection of 1.0339 to 1.0828 from 1.0569 at 1.1058. However, rise from 1.0339 is still seen as a corrective move. Hence we’d expect strong resistance from 1.1058 projection to limit upside and bring near term reversal. On the downside, break of 1.0874 support will turn bias back to the downside for 1.0569 support first.

In the bigger picture, as long as 1.1298 key resistance holds, whole down trend from 1.6039 (2008 high) is still expected to continue. Break of 1.0339 low will send EUR/USD through parity to 61.8% projection of 1.3993 to 1.0461 from 1.1298 at 0.9115. However, considering bullish convergence condition in weekly MACD, break of 1.1298 will indicate long term reversal.

On the upside, break of 1.1412 resistance is needed to indicate medium term bottoming. Otherwise, outlook will stay bearish in case of rebound.

EUR/USD reached as low as 1.1176 and break of 1.1215 support indicates resumption of whole down trend from 1.2555. Intraday bias stays on the downside for 100% projection of 1.1814 to 1.1215 from 1.1569 at 1.0970 next. On the upside, above 1.1285 minor resistance will turn intraday bias neutral first. EUR/USD Weekly Outlook

EUR/USD edged higher to 1.2181 last week but retreated. Though, downside was contained well above 1.1985 support. Initial bias remains neutral this week first and further rally is expected. On the upside, break of 1.2181 will resume the rise from 1.1703 to 1.2242/2348 resistance zone. Decisive break there will resume larger up trend for 1.2555 key resistance zone next.

In the bigger picture, rise from 1.0635 is seen as the third leg of the pattern from 1.0339 (2017 low). Reaction from 1.2555 should reveal underlying long term momentum in the pair.

In the long term picture, the case of long term bullish reversal continues to build up, with bullish convergence condition in monthly MACD, sustained trading above 55 month EMA and long trend falling trend line. Focus is now on 1.2555 cluster resistance (38.2% retracement of 1.6039 to 1.0339 at 1.2516 ). Decisive break there will confirm and target 61.8% retracement at 1.3862 and above.

EUR/USD Weekly Outlook

EUR/USD stays in consolidation below 1.1298 key resistance last week. Retreat was so far shallow and contained above 1.1109 support. Outlook is unchanged. Initial bias remains neutral this week first, with focus on 1.1298. Decisive break there will carry larger bullish implication and target 1.1615 resistance next. However, firm break of 1.1298 will indicate reversal. In such case, further rally would be seen back to 1.2042 support turned resistance next.

In the long term picture, the case for completion of down trend from 1.6039 (2008 high), and long term bottoming at 1.0339, is starting to build up. Decisive break of 1.1298 will bring rise back to 1.2042 as first resistance. And in that case, we should at least see rally back to 38.2% retracement of 1.6039 to 1.0339 at 1.2516.

EUR/USD’s break of 1.0953 minor support suggests that corrective recovery from 1.0635 has completed. Intraday bias is turned back to the downside for retesting this low first. On the upside, however, decisive break of 61.8% retracement of 1.1496 to 1.0635 at 1.1167 will raise the chance of larger trend reversal and turn focus to 1.1496 key resistance.

In the bigger picture, as long as 1.1496 resistance holds, whole down trend from 1.2555 (2018 high) should still be in progress. Next target is 1.0339 (2017 low). However, sustained break of 1.1496 will argue that such down trend has completed. Rise from 1.0635 could then be seen as the third leg of the pattern from 1.0339. EUR/USD Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.1084; (P) 1.1160; (R1) 1.1247; More

EUR/USD’s fall from 1.1496 resumes by breaking 1.1055 temporary low. Intraday bias is back on the downside for retesting 1.0777 low. On the upside, break of 1.1236 minor resistance is needed to indicate completion of the fall. Otherwise, further decline is expected eve in case of recovery.

In the bigger picture, rebound from 1.0777 low faced heavy rejection from 38.2% retracement of 1.2555 to 1.0777 at 1.1456, as well as 55 month EMA. The development argues that price actions from 1.0777 medium term pattern are just corrective the down trend from 1.2555 (2018 high). Further decline is in favor to retest 1.0339 (2017 low). Nevertheless, sustained break of 1.1456 will raise the chance of medium term bullish reversal and target 61.8% retracement at 1.1876.

Sustained break of 78.6% retracement of 1.0339 (2017 low) to 1.2555 at 1.0813 will pave the way to retest 1.0339 low. For now, outlook will remain bearish as long as 1.1239 resistance holds, in case of strong rebound.
