EUR/AUD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.5318; (P) 1.5395; (R1) 1.5446; More

Range trading continues in EUR/AUD and intraday bias remains neutral first. With near term falling channel intact, further decline is in favor. On the downside, break of 1.5250 low will resume larger down trend from 1.9799, for 1.4733 fibonacci level. On the upside, though, break of 1.5689 and sustained trading above channel resistance will indicate short term bottoming. Intraday bias will be turned back to the upside for 1.5945 resistance and above.

In the bigger picture, price actions from 1.9799 are developing into a deep correction, to long term up trend from 1.1602 (2012 low). Deeper fall would be seen to 61.8% retracement of 1.1602 to 1.9799 at 1.4733. Medium term outlook will remain bearish as long as 1.6033 support turned resistance holds, even in case of strong rebound.

EUR/AUD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.6636; (P) 1.6735; (R1) 1.6929; More

EUR/AUD rebounded strongly after drawing support from 1.6597 key long term support level. A short term bottom is likely formed with firm break of 4 hour 55 EMA, on bullish convergence condition in 4 hour MACD. Intraday bias is back on the upside for 1.7321 resistance first. Break will confirm this case and target 38.2% retracement of 1.9799 to 1.6538 at 1.7748 next. For now, risk will stay on the upside as long as 1.6538 holds.

In the bigger picture, while the pull back from 1.9799 is deep, there is no clear sign of trend reversal yet. EUR/AUD is still holding on to 1.6597 (2015 high) cluster support, with 38.2% retracement of 1.1602 to 1.9799 at 1.6668. Larger rise from 1.1602 (2012 low) is in progress and would resume at a later stage. However, sustained break of 1.6597 suggest bearish reversal.

EUR/AUD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.5901; (P) 1.5935; (R1) 1.5997; More

EUR/AUD’s break of 1.5976 resistance suggests resumption of whole rise from 1.5250. Intraday bias is back on the upside for 1.6003 key resistance level. Decisive break there will argue that rise from 1.5250 is at least correcting the whole fall from 1.9799. Further rally would be seen to 1.6827 resistance next. For now, further rise is expected as long as 1.5773 support holds, in case of retreat.

In the bigger picture, outlook stays bearish with 1.6033 support turned resistance intact for now. Fall from 1.9799, as a correction to to long term up trend from 1.1602 (2012 low) is still in favor to resume through 1.5250 later. However, firm break of 1.6033 will argue that such decline has completed. Stronger rebound would then be seen 38.2% retracement of 1.9799 to 1.5250 at 1.6988.

EUR/AUD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.4199; (P) 1.4267; (R1) 1.4305; More

A temporary top is in place at 1.4334 and intraday bias in EUR/AUD is turned neutral first. We’re holding on to the case off trend reversal after defending 1.3671 key support. Downside of current retreat should be contained well above 1.3980 support and bring another rally. Above 1.4334 will target 1.4721 key resistance. Decisive break there will confirm our bullish view.

In the bigger picture, price actions from 1.6587 medium term top are viewed as a corrective pattern. Such correction could be completed after testing 1.3671 key support. Break of 1.4721 cluster resistance (38.2% retracement of 1.6587 to 1.3624 at 1.4756) should confirm this case and target 61.8% retracement at 1.5455 and above. Overall, we’d expect the up trend from 1.1602 to resume later. However, sustained break of 1.3671 will invalidate our bullish view and would turn extend the fall from 1.6587 towards 1.1602 long term bottom.

EUR/AUD Weekly Outlook

EUR/AUD’s rebound from 1.5773 extended higher last week but it’s staying below 1.6059 minor resistance. Initial bias remains neutral this week first. On the downside, below 1.5847 minor support will suggest that rebound form 1.5773 has completed and fall from 1.6189 is resuming. Intraday bias would be turned back to the downside for 1.5773 and then 1.5621 key support level next. On the upside, though, above 1.6059 will turn bias to the upside for 1.6189 instead.

In the bigger picture, the case for medium term reversal is building up in EUR/AUD. Bearish divergence condition in daily MACD indicates further loss of upside momentum ahead of 1.6587 key resistance (2015 high). Break of 1.5621 should confirm medium term topping and bring deeper fall back to 1.5153 and possibly below. Meanwhile, even in case of up trend resumption, we’d be cautious on strong resistance from 1.6587 to limit upside and bring reversal.

In the longer term picture, the rise from 1.1602 long term bottom (2012 low) isn’t over yet. We’ll keep monitoring the development but there is prospect of extending the rise to 61.8% retracement of 2.1127 to 1.1602 at 1.7488 and above. However, sustained trading below 1.3671 should indicate long term reversal and target 1.1602 long term bottom again.

EUR/AUD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.5416; (P) 1.5456; (R1) 1.5506; More

EUR/AUD is sill extending the correction from 1.5704 and intraday bias remains neutral. Deeper fall could be seen but downside should contained by 55 day EMA (now at 1.5216) to bring rebound. On the upside, break of 1.5704 will resume the rally from 1.4281.

In the bigger picture, a medium term bottom should be in place at 1.4281, on bullish convergence condition in daily MACD. Further rise would be seen back to 1.6434 key resistance next. Break of 1.4965 resistance turned support is needed to indicate reversal. Otherwise, further rally will remain in favor.

EUR/AUD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.6063; (P) 1.6119; (R1) 1.6160; More….

A temporary top is formed at 1.6171 in EUR/AUD, just ahead of 1.6189 resistance and intraday bias is turned neutral first. Some consolidations could be seen. But retreat should be contained by 1.5886 resistance turned support to bring another rally. On the upside, firm break of 100% projection of 1.5271 to 1.5886 from 1.5601 at 1.6216 will extend the larger up trend to 161.8% projection at 1.6596, which is close to another key resistance level at 1.6587.

In the bigger picture, EUR/AUD drew strong support from 55 week EMA and rebounded. And the development argues that medium term rally from 1.3624 (2017 low) is still in progress. Firm break of 1.6189 will target a test on 1.6587 (2015 high). On the downside, break of 1.5601 support will now be the first sign of medium term reversal, and will bring a test on 1.5271 key support for confirmation.

EUR/AUD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.5166; (P) 1.5230; (R1) 1.5299; More

EUR/AUD is staying in range below 1.5343 and intraday bias remains neutral. On the upside, sustained break of 1.5354 support turned resistance will indicate medium term bottoming at 1.4318. Stronger rally would be seen back to 100% projection of 1.4318 to 1.5277 from 1.4759 at 1.5718. On the downside, however, break of 1.5083 minor support will retain medium term bearishness, and turn bias back to the downside for 1.4759 support instead.

In the bigger picture, as long as 1.5354 support turned resistance holds, larger down trend from 1.9799 (2020 high) is still expected to continue. On resumption, next target is 61.8% projection of 1.9799 to 1.5250 from 1.6434 at 1.3623, which is close to 1.3624 long term support (2017 low). However, firm break of 1.5354 will indicate medium term bottoming and bring stronger rally back to 1.6434 key resistance.

EUR/AUD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.8300; (P) 1.8359; (R1) 1.8462; More

EUR/AUD surges to as high as 1.9799 so far today and there is no sign of topping yet. 1.8619 long term projection target was taken out without any hesitation. Intraday bias remains on the upside for 2.1127 (2008 high) next. On the downside, touching of 1.8820 minor support will turn intraday bias neutral and bring consolidations first.

In the bigger picture, up trend from 1.1602 (2012 low) is in progress and 100% projection of 1.1602 to 1.6597 from 1.3524 at 1.8619 is already met. Further rally would be seen to 2.1127 (2008 high) and possibly to 161.8% projection at 2.1706. On the downside, for now, touching of 1.6597 resistance turned support (2015 high), is needed to indicate medium term reversal. Otherwise, outlook will stay bullish even in case of deeper pull back.

EUR/AUD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.6033; (P) 1.6093; (R1) 1.6130; More

EUR/AUD’s fall from 1.6434 is still in progress and intraday bias stays on the downside for 1.5898 support. Sustained break there will argue that choppy rise from 1.5250 has completed already. Outlook will be turned bearish for retesting 1.5250 low. On the upside, however, above 1.6263 minor resistance will revive near term bullishness, and turn bias back to the upside for retesting 1.6434 high instead.

In the bigger picture, rise from 1.5250 medium term bottom is currently seen as a correction to the down trend from 1.9799 first. Stronger rise would be seen to 38.2% retracement of 1.9799 to 1.5250 at 1.6988 next. We’d tentatively expect strong resistance from there to limit upside, at least on first attempt. Meanwhile, break of 1.5898 support will indicate that the rebound has completed and bring retest of 1.5250 low.

EUR/AUD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.6538; (P) 1.6569; (R1) 1.6602; More

Range trading continues in EUR/AUD and intraday bias remains neutral at this point. Near term outlook will stay cautiously bullish as long as 1.6439 support holds. On the upside, above 1.6677 will target 1.6742 first. Decisive break there will resume whole rise from 1.6127 and target 1.6844 resistance next.

In the bigger picture, fall from 1.7062 medium term top is seen as a correction to the up trend from 1.4281 (2022 low). Break of 1.6844 resistance will argue that this up trend is ready to resume through 1.7062 high. In case of another fall, strong support should be seen around 1.5846 and 38.2% retracement of 1.4281 to 1.7062 at 1.6000 to bring rebound.

EUR/AUD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.6352; (P) 1.6397; (R1) 1.6453; More

EUR/AUD is staying in consolidation from 1.6033 and intraday bias remains neutral at this point. As long as 1.6772 resistance holds, further decline is expected. On the downside, firm break of 1.6033 will resume the decline from 1.9799 for next support level at 1.5346. On the upside, however, break of 1.6772 resistance will confirm short term bottoming and turn bias back to the upside for stronger rebound.

In the bigger picture, whole up trend from 1.1602 (2012 low) might have completed at 1.9799. Deeper fall could be seen to 61.8% retracement of 1.1602 to 1.9799 at 1.4733. This will remain the preferred case now as long as 1.7194 resistance holds.

EUR/AUD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.4434; (P) 1.4515; (R1) 1.4562; More

Intraday bias in EUR/AUD remains neutral for consolidation below 1.4649 temporary top. We’re holding on to the view of trend reversal after defending 1.3671 key support. Hence, downside of retreat should be contained by 1.4334 resistance turned support and bring another rally. Above 1.4649 will target 1.4721 key resistance. Decisive break of 1.4721 will confirm our bullish view. However, break of 1.4334 will suggest rejection from 1.4721 and turn bias back to the downside for 1.3980 support instead.

In the bigger picture, price actions from 1.6587 medium term top are viewed as a corrective pattern. Such correction could be completed after defending 1.3671 key support.

EUR/AUD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.7083; (P) 1.7217; (R1) 1.7285; More

EUR/AUD is staying in consolidation above 1.7003 temporary low and intraday bias remains neutral first. As long as 1.8124 resistance holds, further decline could still be seen. Break of 1.7003 will extend the fall from 1.9799 to 1.6085/6593 support zone. On the upside, though, break of 1.8124 resistance will argue that such decline has completed and turn bias back to the upside.

In the bigger picture, up trend from 1.1602 (2012 low) is in progress and further rally would be seen to 2.1127 (2008 high) and possibly to 161.8% projection of 1.1602 to 1.6597 from 1.3524 at 2.1706. On the downside, for now, touching of 1.6597 resistance turned support (2015 high) is needed to indicate medium term reversal. Otherwise, outlook will stay bullish even in case of deep pull back.

EUR/AUD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.5849; (P) 1.5892; (R1) 1.5925; More….

With 1.5786 minor support intact, further rise is expected in EUR/AUD for 61.8% projection of 1.5258 to 1.5816 from 1.5626 at 1.5971. Break there target 100% projection at 1.6184. On the downside, break of 1.5786 will rise the chance of near term reversal and turn bias to the downside for 1.5626 support.

In the bigger picture, medium term rise from 1.3624 is still in progress for 1.6587 key resistance. At this point, we’d be cautious on strong resistance from there to limit upside. But decisive break will confirm resumption of long term rise from 1.1602. On the downside, break of 1.5153 support is needed to indicate completion of the medium term rise. Otherwise, outlook will remain bullish in case of pull back.

EUR/AUD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.6398; (P) 1.6458; (R1) 1.6556; More

Intraday bias in EUR/AUD is turned neutral first as it recovered after hitting 100% projection of 1.6742 to 1.6439 from 1.6677 at 1.6374. On the downside, below 1.6368 will resume the fall from 1.6742 towards 1.6127 low. Nevertheless, sustained trading above 55 D EMA (now at 1.6519) will turn bias back to the upside for stronger rebound.

In the bigger picture, fall from 1.7062 medium term top is seen as a correction to the up trend from 1.4281 (2022 low). The correction is still in progress with fall from 1.6742 as the third leg. Strong support is expected around 1.5846 and 38.2% retracement of 1.4281 to 1.7062 at 1.6000 to bring rebound.

EUR/AUD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.6492; (P) 1.6533; (R1) 1.6599; More

Intraday bias in EUR/AUD stays neutral for the moment. Sideway trading might continue further. On the downside, below 1.6446 minor support will bring retest of 1.6319. Break there will resume the decline from 1.7062 to 1.6000 fibonacci level. On the upside, firm break of 1.6650 resistance will argue that pull back from 1.7062 has completed, after drawing support from medium term rising trend line. Further rally would be seen back to retest 1.7062.

In the bigger picture, fall from 1.7062 is probably correcting whole up trend from 1.4281 (2022 low). Deeper decline would be seen to 38.2% retracement of 1.4281 to 1.7062 at 1.6000. Strong support could be seen there to bring rebound, at least on first attempt. This will remain the favored case as long as 1.6650 resistance holds.

EUR/AUD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.5595; (P) 1.5649; (R1) 1.5695; More

EUR/AUD edged higher to 1.5701 but failed to extend gain again. Outlook is unchanged that consolidation pattern from 1.5250 might extend further. But upside should be limited by 38.2% retracement of 1.6827 to 1.5250 at 1.5852. Overall, down trend from 1.9799 is expected to resume after consolidation from 1.5250 completes.

EUR/AUD Weekly Outlook

EUR/AUD dropped sharply to 1.5651 last week but drew immediate support from 38.2% retracement of 1.5271 to 1.5886 at 1.5651 and rebounded. The development suggests that rise from 1.5271 is not completed yet. Initial bias is neutral this week first for some more consolidative sideway trading. On the upside, break of 1.5888 will resume the rise from 1.5271 and target 1.6139/89 resistance zone.

In the bigger picture, current development suggests that fall from 1.6189 is a corrective move and has completed at 1.5271 already. Key support levels of 1.5153 and 38.2% retracement of 1.3624 to 1.6189 at 1.5209 were defended. And medium term rise from 1.3624 (2017 low) is still in progress. Break of 1.6189 will target 1.6587 key resistance (2015 high).

In the longer term picture, the rise from 1.1602 long term bottom (2012 low) isn’t over yet. We’ll keep monitoring the development but there is prospect of extending the rise to 61.8% retracement of 2.1127 to 1.1602 at 1.7488 and above. However, sustained trading below 1.3624 key support should indicate long term reversal and target 1.1602 long term bottom again.

EUR/AUD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.6211; (P) 1.6274; (R1) 1.6388; More

Intraday bias in EUR/AUD is turned neutral with current strong recovery. Further fall is mildly in favor as long as 1.6374 resistance holds. Below 1.6144 will target a test on 1.6033 low. Decisive break there will resume larger fall from 1.9799. On the upside, break of 1.6374 resistance will extend the consolidation from 1.6033 with another rising leg, and turn bias to the upside for 1.6827.

In the bigger picture, current development suggests that price actions form 1.9799 might be developing into a sideway pattern only. That is, medium term outlook is just neutral, and up trend from 1.1602 (2012 low) could resume at a later stage. On the downside, though, sustained trading below 55 week EMA (now at 1.6463) would revive medium term bearishness for 61.8% retracement of 1.1602 to 1.9799 at 1.4733.
