EUR/USD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.0796; (P) 1.0863; (R1) 1.0900; More

A temporary top is formed at 1.0929 in EUR/USD with current retreat. Intraday bias is turned neutral first. Further rally is in favor as long as 4 hour 55 EMA (now at 1.0739) holds. Above 1.0929 will target 1.1032 high first. Decisive break there will resume whole up trend from 0.9534 and target 1.1273 fibonacci level next. However, firm break of 4 hour 55 EMA will likely extend the corrective pattern from 1.1032 and bring deeper decline back towards 1.0515.

In the bigger picture, rise from 0.9534 (2022 low) is in progress with 38.2% retracement of 0.9534 to 1.1032 at 1.0460 intact. The strong support from 55 week EMA (now at 1.0623) was also a medium term bullish sign. Next target is 61.8% retracement of 1.2348 (2021 high) to 0.9534 at 1.1273. Sustained break there will solidity the case of bullish trend reversal and target 1.2348 resistance next (2021 high).

EUR/USD Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.2015; (P) 1.2043; (R1) 1.2093; More….

EUR/USD’s strong break of 1.2075 minor resistance suggests that pull back from 1.2149 has completed at 1.1985. Rise from 1.1703 is likely ready to resume. Intraday bias is back on the upside. Break of 1.2149 will confirm and target 1.2242/2348 resistance zone. In case of another fall, we’d continue to expect strong support from 38.2% retracement of 1.1703 to 1.2149 at 1.1979 to bring rebound.

In the bigger picture, rise from 1.0635 is seen as the third leg of the pattern from 1.0339 (2017 low). Further rally could be seen to cluster resistance at 1.2555 next, (38.2% retracement of 1.6039 to 1.0339 at 1.2516). This will remain the favored case as long as 1.1602 support holds. However, sustained break of 1.1602 will argue that whole rise from 1.10635 has completed. Deeper fall would be seen to 61.8% retracement of 1.0635 to 1.2348 at 1.1289.

EUR/USD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.0631; (P) 1.0672 (R1) 1.0694; More…..

A temporary top is formed at 1.0713 in EUR/USD with 4 hour MACD crossed below signal line. Intraday bias is turned neutral first. At this point, we’re still favoring the bullish case. That is, whole rise from 1.0339 low is in progress and resuming. Above 1.0713 will target 1.0828 and above. However, since it’s seen as a corrective move, we’d expect upside to be limited by 100% projection of 1.0339 to 1.0828 from 1.0494 at 1.0983. The larger down trend is expected to resume later. On the downside, break of prior resistance at 1.0630 will turn bias back to the downside for retesting 1.0494 low.

In the bigger picture, as long as 1.1298 key resistance holds, whole down trend from 1.6039 (2008 high) is still expected to continue. Break of 1.0339 low will send EUR/USD through parity to 61.8% projection of 1.3993 to 1.0461 from 1.1298 at 0.9115.

EUR/USD Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.1504; (P) 1.1527; (R1) 1.1551; More

Intraday bias in EUR/USD remains mildly on the downside for 1.1467 first. Firm break there will target 1.1390, and then 38.2% retracement of 1.0176 to 1.1917 at 1.1252. On the upside, above 1.1551 minor resistance will turn intraday bias neutral. But risk will stay on the downside as long as 1.1655 resistance holds, in case of recovery.

In the bigger picture, considering bearish divergence condition in D MACD, a medium term top is likely in place at 1.1917, just ahead of 1.2 key psychological level. As long as 55 W EMA (now at 1.1328) holds, the up trend from 0.9534 (2022 low) is still in favor to continue. Decisive break of 1.2000 will carry larger bullish implications. However, sustained trading below 55 W EMA will argue that rise from 0.9534 has completed as a three wave corrective bounce, and keep long term outlook bearish.

EUR/USD Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.1704; (P) 1.1762; (R1) 1.1795; More

EUR/USD’s fall from 1.1917 resumed by breaking through 1.1724 and intraday bias is back on the downside. Considering bearish divergence condition in D MACD, sustained break of 55 D EMA (1.1667) will argue that 1.1917 is already a medium term top. Deeper fall should then be seen to 1.1390 support next. For now, risk will stay on the downside as long as 1.1819 resistance holds, in case of recovery.

In the bigger picture, rise from 1.0176 (2025 low) is seen as the third leg of the pattern from 0.9534 (2022 low). 100% projection of 0.9534 to 1.1274 from 1.0176 at 1.1916 was already met. For now, further rally will remain in favor as long as 1.1390 support holds, and firm break of 1.2000 psychological level will carry larger bullish implications. However, firm break of 1.1390 will suggest that rise from 1.0176 has already completed and bring deeper fall to 55 W EMA (now at 1.1214).

EUR/USD Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.1085; (P) 1.1125; (R1) 1.1152; More….

EUR/USD is staying in consolidation below 1.1173 and intraday bias remains neutral for the moment. Further rally is expected as long as 1.1046 resistance turned support holds. Above 1.1173 will target 161.8% projection of 1.0665 to 1.0947 from 1.0776 at 1.1232. However, break of 1.1046 will indicate short term topping and bring deeper pullback towards 1.0947.

In the bigger picture, price actions from 1.1274 are viewed as a corrective pattern that’s could still extend. Break of 1.1138 resistance will be the first signal that rise from 0.9534 (2022 low) is ready to resume through 1.1274 (2023 high). Next target is 61.8% projection of 0.9534 to 1.1274 from 1.0665 at 1.1740. However, break of 1.0974 resistance turned support will extend the correction with another falling leg back towards 1.0447 support.

EUR/USD Weekly Outlook

EUR/USD rose to 1.1630 last week but retreated since then. Initial bias stays neutral this week for consolidations. The break of 1.1572 suggest that rally from 1.0176 is resuming. Above 1.1630 will target 61.8% projection of 1.0176 to 1.1572 from 1.1064 at 1.1927. However, break of 1.1372 support will indicate short term topping, and turn bias to the downside for deeper pullback.

In the bigger picture, rise from 0.9534 long term bottom could be correcting the multi-decade downtrend or the start of a long term up trend. In either case, further rise should be seen to 100% projection of 0.9534 to 1.1274 from 1.0176 at 1.1916. This will now remain the favored case as long as 1.1604 support holds.

In the long term picture, a long term bottom should be in place already at 0.9534, on bullish convergence condition in M MACD. Rise from there could be a corrective bounce or the start of an up trend. In either case, next target is 38.2% retracement of 1.6039 to 0.9534 at 1.2019.

EUR/USD Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.1652; (P) 1.1696 (R1) 1.1766; More…..

Outlook is EUR/USD is unchanged. Further rise cannot be ruled out as consolidation from 1.1509 extends. But upside should be limited by 1.1851 resistance to bring fall resumption eventually. In the bigger picture, EUR/USD was rejected by 38.2% retracement of 1.6039 (2008 high) to 1.0339 (2017 low) at 1.2516. And, a medium term top was formed at 1.2555 already. Decline from there should extend further to 61.8% retracement of 1.0339 to 1.2555 at 1.1186 and below. For now, even in case of rebound, we won’t consider the fall from 1.2555 as finished as long as 1.1995 resistance holds.

EUR/USD Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.0180; (P) 1.0219; (R1) 1.0259; More

Intraday bias in EUR/USD remains neutral first. on the downside, break of 1.0118 will suggest that rebound from 0.9951 has completed. Bias will be back on the downside for retesting 0.9951 low. On the upside, above 1.0277 will resume the rebound to 1.0348 support turned resistance.

In the bigger picture, down trend from 1.6039 (2008 high) is still in progress. Next target is 100% projection of 1.3993 to 1.0339 from 1.2348 at 0.8694. In any case, outlook will stay bearish as long as 1.0773 resistance holds, in case of strong rebound.

EUR/USD Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.1468; (P) 1.1659 (R1) 1.1756; More…..

EUR/USD recovers mildly but intraday bias stays on the downside for 1.1509 low. Break there will confirm resumption of larger decline from 1.2555. EUR/USD should take out 50% retracement of 1.0339 to 1.2555 at 1.1447 with ease to 61.8% retracement at 1.1186. On the upside, above 1.1659 minor resistance will delay the bearish case and bring more consolidation first.

In the bigger picture, current development suggests that EUR/USD was rejected by 38.2% retracement of 1.6039 (2008 high) to 1.0339 (2017 low) at 1.2516.

EUR/USD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.1795; (P) 1.1853 (R1) 1.1912; More

A temporary top is in place at 1.1908 in EUR/USD. Intraday bias is turned neutral first. Another rise is expected as long as 1.1612 support holds. Above 1.1908 will target 1.2 psychological level. Considering bearish divergence condition in 4 hour MACD, we’ll be cautious on topping around there to bring correction. On the downside, break of 1.1612 will indicate short term topping and bring deeper pull back to 55 day EMA (now at 1.1379).

In the bigger picture, an important bottom was formed at 1.0339 on bullish convergence condition in weekly MACD. Sustained break of 55 month EMA (now at 1.1760) will pave the way to key fibonacci level at 38.2% retracement of 1.6039 (2008 high) to 1.0339 (2017 low) at 1.2516. While rise from 1.0339 is strong, there is no confirmation that it’s developing into a long term up trend yet. Hence, we’ll be cautious on strong resistance from 1.2516 to limit upside. But for now, medium term outlook will remain bullish as long as 1.1295 support holds, in case of pull back.

EUR/USD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.1503; (P) 1.1522; (R1) 1.1539; More

Intraday bias in EUR/USD stays mildly on the downside for the moment. Fall from 1.1917 should target 100% projection of 1.1917 to 1.1540 from 1.1727 at 1.1350. Decisive break there would prompt downside acceleration to 38.2% retracement of 1.0176 to 1.1917 at 1.1252. On the upside, above 1.1576 minor resistance will turn bias neutral and bring consolidations first, before staging another fall.

In the bigger picture, considering bearish divergence condition in D MACD, a medium term top is likely in place at 1.1917, just ahead of 1.2 key psychological level. As long as 55 W EMA (now at 1.1306) holds, the up trend from 0.9534 (2022 low) is still expected to continue. Decisive break of 1.2000 will carry larger bullish implications. However, sustained trading below 55 W EMA will argue that rise from 0.9534 has completed as a three wave corrective bounce, and keep outlook bearish.

EUR/USD Weekly Outlook

EUR/USD rose to as high as 1.1908 last week but formed a temporary top there and retreated. Initial bias is neutral this week first. Considering bearish divergence condition in 4 hour MACD, break of 1.1698 minor support will suggest short term topping. Intraday bias will be turned to the downside for deeper pull back. But downside should be contained above 1.1422 resistance turned support to bring rebound. On the upside, above 1.1908 will resume the whole rise from 1.0635 instead.

In the bigger picture, the strong break of 1.1496 resistance now suggests that whole down trend from 1.2555 (2018 high) has completed at 1.0635 already. Rise from 1.0635 should be the third leg of the pattern from 1.0339 (2017 low). Further rise should be seen to cluster resistance at 1.2555 next, (38.2% retracement of 1.6039 to 1.0339 at 1.2516 ). This will remain the favored case as long as 1.1422 resistance turned support holds.

In the long term picture, the strong break of 55 month EMA is taken as a sign of long term trend reversal. Immediate focus will be on decade long trend line resistance (now at 1.1748). Sustained trading above there will add more credence to the case that down trend from 1.6039 (2008 high) has finished at 1.0339. Further break of 1.2555 cluster resistance (38.2% retracement of 1.6039 to 1.0339 at 1.2516) will confirm and target 61.8% retracement at 1.3862 and above.

EUR/USD Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.1689; (P) 1.1716; (R1) 1.1737; More

Intraday bias in EUR/USD remains on the downside for further decline. We’d continue to look for strong support from 1.1602/1703 support zone to bring rebound. On the upside, above 1.1804 resistance will turn bias back to the upside for 1.1907 resistance first. However, sustained break of 1.1602/1703 will carry larger bearish implication and pave the way to 1.1289 fibonacci support.

In the bigger picture, rise from 1.0635 is seen as the third leg of the pattern from 1.0339 (2017 low). Further rally remains in favors long as 1.1602 support holds, to cluster resistance at 1.2555 next, (38.2% retracement of 1.6039 to 1.0339 at 1.2516). Reaction from 1.2555 should reveal underlying long term momentum in the pair. However sustained break of 1.1602 will argue that the rise from 1.0635 is over, and turn medium term outlook bearish again. Deeper fall would be seen to 61.8% retracement of 1.0635 to 1.2348 at 1.1289 and below.

EUR/USD Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.0826; (P) 1.0860; (R1) 1.0907; More

EUR/USD is staying in range of 1.0768/0990 and intraday bias remains neutral for now. On the downside, break of 1.0768 will extend the fall from 1.1147 to retest 1.0635 low. On the upside, above 1.0990 will extend the corrective pattern from 1.0635 with another rebound. But upside should be limited by 61.8% retracement of 1.1496 to 1.0635 at 1.1167.

In the bigger picture, as long as 1.1496 resistance holds, whole down trend from 1.2555 (2018 high) should still be in progress. Next target is 1.0339 (2017 low). However, sustained break of 1.1496 will argue that such down trend has completed. Rise from 1.0635 could then be seen as the third leg of the pattern from 1.0339. In this case, outlook will be turned bullish for retesting 1.2555.

EUR/USD Daily Outlook

Outlook in EUR/USD is unchanged as consolidation from 1.1094 is extending. Intraday bias stays neutral and further rally is expected as long as 1.0908 support holds. Break of 1.1094 will resume larger up trend to 1.1273 fibonacci level. Break there will target 61.8% projection of 0.9534 to 1.1032 from 1.0515 at 1.1441 However, considering bearish divergence condition in 4H MACD, break of 1.0908 support will indicate short term topping and turn bias back to the downside.

In the bigger picture, rise from 0.9534 (2022 low) is in progress for 61.8% retracement of 1.2348 (2021 high) to 0.9534 at 1.1273. Sustained break there will solidify the case of bullish trend reversal and target 1.2348 resistance next (2021 high). This will now remain the favored case as long as 1.0515 support holds, even in case of deeper pull back.

EUR/USD Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.1101; (P) 1.1124; (R1) 1.1136; More….

Intraday bias in EUR/USD stays neutral and outlook is unchanged. On the upside, break of 1.1153 resistance will suggest that later rally is ready to resume and target 1.1200, and then 1.1274 high. On the downside, below 1.1072 minor support will turn bias back to the downside for 38.2% retracement of 1.0665 to 1.1200 at 1.0996 again.

In the bigger picture, prior break of 1.1138 resistance indicates that corrective pattern from 1.1274 might have completed at 1.0665 already. Decisive break of 1.1274 (2023 high) will confirm whole up trend from 0.9534 (2022 low). Next target will be 61.8% projection of 0.9534 to 1.1274 from 1.0665 at 1.1740. This will now be the favored case as long as 1.0947 resistance turned support holds.

EUR/USD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.1586; (P) 1.1631 (R1) 1.1688; More…..

EUR/USD lost downside momentum again as seen in 4 hour MACD. Intraday bias is turned neutral gain. Overall outlook remain bearish and downside breakout is expected, sooner or later. Firm break of 1.1507 will resume whole decline from 1.2555, through 50% retracement of 1.0339 to 1.2555 at 1.1447 to 61.8% retracement at 1.1186. On the upside, in case of another rise as consolidation extends, upside should be limited by 1.1851 resistance to bring fall resumption eventually.

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.1714; (P) 1.1736 (R1) 1.1759; More….

EUR/USD recovers after drawing support from 4 hour 55 EMA again. But it’s staying below 1.1860 and intraday bias stays neutral first. Near term outlook remains cautiously bullish with 1.1677 support intact. As noted before, corrective fall from 1.2091 has completed at 1.1553 already, ahead of 38.2% retracement of 1.0569 to 1.2091 at 1.1510. Above 1.1860 will turn bias to the upside for retesting 1.2091 high. However, break of 1.1677 will dampen this bullish view and turn focus back to 1.1553 low instead.

In the bigger picture, rise from 1.0339 medium term bottom is seen as a corrective move for the moment. Therefore, in case of another rally, we’d be cautious on 38.2% retracement of 1.6039 (2008 high) to 1.0339 (2017 low) at 1.2516 to limit upside and bring reversal. Meanwhile, sustained trading below 55 week EMA (now at 1.1373) will suggest that such medium term rebound is completed and could then bring retest of 1.0339 low.

EUR/USD is still bounded in consolidation from 1.1920 an intraday bias remains neutral for the moment. On the upside, break of 1.1920 will reaffirm the case that consolidation from 1.2011 has completed at 1.1602. Further rise would be seen to retest 1.2011 high. However, break of 1.1745 support will turn bias to the downside to extend the consolidation with another falling leg.

In the bigger picture, rise from 1.0635 is seen as the third leg of the pattern from 1.0339 (2017 low). Further rally could be seen to cluster resistance at 1.2555 next, (38.2% retracement of 1.6039 to 1.0339 at 1.2516).
