EUR/USD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.0719; (P) 1.0739; (R1) 1.0770; More

Intraday bias in EUR/USD stays neutral as consolidation continues above 1.0685. Outlook will stay bearish as long as 1.0944 resistance holds. On the downside, below 1.0685 will resume the fall from 1.1274 to 1.0609/34 cluster support zone next.

In the bigger picture, fall from 1.1274 medium term top is seen as a correction to up trend from 0.9534 (2022 low). Strong support could be seen from 1.0634 cluster support (38.2% retracement of 0.9534 to 1.1274 at 1.0609) to bring rebound, at least on first attempt. Break of 1.0944 will indicate the start of the second leg, and target retest of 1.1274. However, sustained break of 1.0609/0634 will raise the chance of bearish trend reversal, and target 61.8% retracement at 1.0199.

EUR/USD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.0917; (P) 1.0944; (R1) 1.0974; More

Intraday bias in EUR/USD remains neutral and further decline is mildly in favor with 1.1014 minor resistance holds. Below 1.0892 will resume the fall from 1.1138 short term top for 1.0772 support. Sustained break there will argue that whole rise from 1.0447 has completed, and break deeper fall back to this support. On the upside, however, break of 1.1014 minor resistance will turn bias back to the upside for retesting 1.1138 instead.

In the bigger picture, price actions from 1.1274 are viewed as a corrective pattern to rise from 0.9534 (2022 low). Rise from 1.0447 is seen as the second leg. While further rally could cannot be ruled out, upside should be limited by 1.1274 to bring the third leg of the pattern. Meanwhile, sustained break of 1.0722 support will argue that the third leg has already started for 1.0447 and below.

Intraday bias in EUR/USD remains on the downside at this point and further decline should be seen towards 1.1107 low. We’d stay cautious on strong support from 1.1107 low to bring rebound. On the upside, above 1.1247 minor resistance will turn bias back to the upside for 1.1347 again.

In the bigger picture, considering bullish convergence condition in daily and weekly MACD, a medium term bottom could be in place at 1.1107 after hitting 61.8% retracement of 1.0339 (2016 low) to 1.2555 (2018 high) at 1.1186. Hence, for now, risk will stay on the upside as long as 1.1107 low holds. Break of 1.12347 will extend the rebound towards 38.2% retracement of 1.2555 to 1.1107 at 1.1660. However, sustained break of 1.1107 will confirm resumption of down trend from 1.2555.

EUR/USD Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.1799; (P) 1.1824; (R1) 1.1867; More…..

Intraday bias in EUR/USD remains neutral for the moment. Consolidation from 1.1916 might extend. As long as 1.1711 support holds, further rise is in favor. On the upside, break of 1.1916 will resume larger rise from 1.0635. Next near term target will be 61.8% projection of 1.1255 to 1.1916 from 1.1711 at 1.2119. On the downside, though, break of 1.1711 should short term topping. Intraday bias will be turned back to the downside towards 55 day EMA (now at 1.1494).

In the bigger picture, down trend from 1.2555 (2018 high) has completed at 1.0635 already. Rise form 1.0635 is seen as the third leg of the pattern from 1.0339 (2017 low). Further rally rise should be seen to cluster resistance at 1.2555 next, (38.2% retracement of 1.6039 to 1.0339 at 1.2516 ). This will remain the favored case as long as 1.1422 resistance turned support holds.

EUR/USD Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.1106; (P) 1.1130; (R1) 1.1157; More

Intraday bias in EUR/USD remains on the upside despite current retreat. Rise form 1.0879 should have just resumed. Further rally should be seen to 100% projection of 1.0879 to 1.1179 from 1.0981 at 1.1281 next. On the downside, below 1.1102 minor support will delay the bullish case and turn bias neutral first.

In the bigger picture, rebound from 1.0879 is seen as a corrective move first. In case of another rise, upside should be limited by 38.2% retracement of 1.2555 to 1.0879 at 1.1519. And, down trend from 1.2555 (2018 high) would resume at a later stage. However, sustained break of 1.1519 will dampen this bearish view and bring stronger rise to 61.8% retracement at 1.1915 next.

EUR/USD Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.1026; (P) 1.1074; (R1) 1.1114; More

EUR/USD’s decline accelerates further to as low as 1.0888 and intraday bias remains on the downside. Current down trend should target 61.8% projection of 1.2265 to 1.1120 from 1.1494 at 1.0786 next. On the upside, above 1.1038 minor resistance will turn intraday bias neutral and bring consolidations first, before staging another decline.

In the bigger picture, the decline from 1.2348 (2021 high) is expected to continue as long as 1.1494 resistance holds. Firm break of 1.0635 (2020 low) will raise the chance of long term down trend resumption and target a retest on 1.0339 (2017 low) next. Nevertheless, break of 1.1494 will maintain medium term neutral outlook, and extend range trading first.

EUR/USD Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.1788; (P) 1.1841; (R1) 1.1876; More

Intraday bias in EUR/USD remains neutral at this point. Further fall is still in favor as long as 1.1974 resistance holds. Break of 1.1806 will resume the decline from 1.2265, as the third leg of the consolidation pattern from 1.2348, to 1.1703 support. On the upside, break of 1.1974 resistance will turn bias back to the upside for 1.2265 resistance.

In the bigger picture, rise from 1.0635 is seen as the third leg of the pattern from 1.0339 (2017 low). Further rally could be seen to cluster resistance at 1.2555 next, (38.2% retracement of 1.6039 to 1.0339 at 1.2516). This will remain the favored case as long as 1.1602 support holds. Reaction from 1.2555 should reveal underlying long term momentum in the pair. However sustained break of 1.1602 will argue that the rise from 1.0635 is over, and turn medium term outlook bearish again.

EUR/USD Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.1495; (P) 1.1558 (R1) 1.1590; More…..

Intraday bias in EUR/USD remains on the downside as the larger down rend from 1.2555 resumes today. Further decline should be seen to 61.8% projection of 1.2413 to 1.1509 from 1.1745 at 1.1186. Note that it’s a cluster level with 61.8% retracement of 1.0339 to 1.2555 at 1.1186. Hence, we’ll tentatively look for short term bottoming around 1.1186. On the upside, above 1.1516 minor resistance will turn bias neutral and bring consolidations first, before staging another decline.

In the bigger picture, the down trend from 1.2555 medium term is in progress for 61.8% retracement of 1.0339 to 1.2555 at 1.1186. Note again that EUR/USD was rejected by 38.2% retracement of 1.6039 (2008 high) to 1.0339 (2017 low) at 1.2516. That carries some long term bearish implications. Sustained break of 1.1186 could pave the way back to retest 1.0339 low. For now, even in case of rebound, we won’t consider the fall from 1.2555 as finished as long as 1.1851 resistance holds.

EUR/USD Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.0481; (P) 1.0530 (R1) 1.0567; More

EUR/USD is still bounded in consolidation from 1.0470 and intraday bias remains neutral. Upside of recovery should be limited by 1.0756 support turned resistance to bring fall resumption. Break of 1.0470 will resume larger down trend and target 161.8% projection of 1.1494 to 1.0805 from 1.1184 at 1.0069.

In the bigger picture, the decline from 1.2348 (2021 high) is expected to continue as long as 1.1185 support turned resistance holds. The break of 1.0635 (2020 low) now raises the chance that it’s resuming long term down trend from 1.6039 (2008 high). Retest of 1.0339 (2017 low) low should be seen next. Decisive break there will confirm this bearish case.

EUR/USD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.0022; (P) 1.0122; (R1) 1.0308; More

Intraday bias in EUR/USD remains on the upside as rise form 0.9534 is extending. Next target is 38.2% retracement of 1.1494 to 0.9534 at 1.0283. Sustained break there will target 55 week EMA (now at 1.0571). On the downside, below 1.0095 minor support will turn intraday bias neutral and bring consolidations, before staging another rally.

In the bigger picture, break of the medium term channel resistance, bullish convergence condition in daily MACD, as well as some support from 55 day EMA are bullish signs. A medium term bottom should be in place at 0.9534. Stronger rebound should be seen back towards 55 week EMA (now at 1.0567). It’s still early to conclude that the medium term trend is reversing, at least until sustained break of 55 week EMA.

EUR/USD Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.0918; (P) 1.0988; (R1) 1.1106; More

With 1.0888 minor support intact, further rise is in favor in EUR/USD to 61.8 retracement of 1.1496 to 1.0635 at 1.1167 next. Considering bullish convergence condition in daily MACD, sustained break of 1.1167 will raise the chance of larger reversal and turn focus to 1.1496 key resistance. On the downside, break of 1.0888 will argue that the rebound has completed and turn bias back to the downside for retesting 1.0635 low.

In the bigger picture, whole down trend form 1.2555 (2018 high) should have resumed. Next target is 61.8% projection of 1.2555 to 1.0777 from 1.1496 at 1.0397. This level is close to 1.0339 (2017 low). On the upside, break of 1.1496 resistance is needed to indicate medium term reversal. Otherwise, outlook will remain bearish even in case of strong rebound.

EUR/USD Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.1665; (P) 1.1710; (R1) 1.1735; More

Intraday bias in EUR/USD is turned neutral with today’s recovery. On the downside, sustained break of 1.1663 support will resume the fall from 1.2265, and the pattern from 1.2348, to 1.1602 key support next. On the upside, however, above 1.1754 minor resistance will turn bias back to the upside for 1.1908 again.

In the bigger picture, rise from 1.0635 is seen as the third leg of the pattern from 1.0339 (2017 low). Further rally remains in favors long as 1.1602 support holds, to cluster resistance at 1.2555 next, (38.2% retracement of 1.6039 to 1.0339 at 1.2516). However sustained break of 1.1602 will argue that the rise from 1.0635 is over, and turn medium term outlook bearish again. Deeper fall would be seen to 61.8% retracement of 1.0635 to 1.2348 at 1.1289 and below.

At this point, further fall remains in favor in EUR/USD with 1.1771 resistance intact. The corrective decline from 1.2011 would target 38.2% retracement of 1.0635 to 1.2011 at 1.1485. On the upside, however, break of 1.1771 resistance will now be the first sign that correction from 1.2011 has completed. Intraday bias will be turned back to the upside for 1.1880 for confirmation.

In the bigger picture, rise from 1.0635 is seen as the third leg of the pattern from 1.0339 (2017 low). Further rally could be seen to cluster resistance at 1.2555 next, (38.2% retracement of 1.6039 to 1.0339 at 1.2516). This will remain the favored case as long as 1.1422 resistance turned support holds.

EUR/USD Daily Outlook

EUR/USD formed a temporary top at 1.1496 after failing to sustain above 1.1456 fibonacci resistance. Intraday bias is turned neutral first some consolidations first. Further rise is in favor as long as 1.1095 support holds. Sustained break of 1.1496 will pave the way to next fibonacci level at 1.1876. However, break of 1.1096 will turn bias back to the downside for retesting 1.0777 low.

In the bigger picture, a medium term bottom should have formed at 1.0777 after drawing support from 78.6% retracement of 1.0339 (2017 low) to 1.2555 at 1.0813. Sustained break of 38.2% retracement of 1.2555 to 1.0777 at 1.1456 will raise the chance of medium term bullish reversal and target 61.8% retracement at 1.1876. Rejection by 1.1456 will suggests that price actions from 1.0777 are merely a correction. Another fall below 1.0777 low would be seen at a later stage in this case.

Intraday bias in EUR/USD remains neutral for consolidation above 1.1335 temporary low. On the downside, below 1.1335 will target 1.1300 key support first. Decisive break will resume whole down trend from 1.2555 and target 1.1186 fibonacci level next. On the upside, however, break of 1.1621 resistance will extend the consolidation pattern from 1.1300 with another rise before larger down trend resumption.

In the bigger picture, corrective pattern from 1.1300 could have completed at 1.1814 after hitting 38.2% retracement of 1.2555 to 1.1300 at 1.1779. Decisive break of 1.1300 will resume the down trend from 1.2555 to 61.8% retracement of 1.0339 (2017 low) to 1.2555 at 1.1186 next. Sustained break there will pave the way to retest 1.0339. On the upside, break of 1.1814 will delay the bearish case and extend the correction from 1.1300 with another rise before completion.

Intraday bias in EUR/USD remains neutral and more consolidation could be seen below 1.2079 temporary top. But further rally is expected with 1.1941 minor support intact. As noted before, correction from 1.2348 should have completed with three waves down to 1.1703. Break of 1.2079 will target 1.2442/2348 resistance zone. However, break of 1.1941 will argue that the rebound from 1.1703 has completed, and turn bias back to the downside for this support.

However, sustained break of 1.1602 will argue that whole rise from 1.10635 has completed. Deeper fall would be seen to 61.8% retracement of 1.0635 to 1.2348 at 1.1289.

EUR/USD Daily Outlook

Intraday bias in EUR/USD remains neutral and further rally is still in favor with 55 D EMA (now at 1.0854) intact. On the upside, break of 1.1011 will resume the rise from 1.0634 and target 1.1094 resistance. Decisive break there will resume larger up trend from 0.9534 to 1.1273 fibonacci level. However, firm break of 1.0834 will turn bias to the downside for 1.0634 support instead.

In the bigger picture, as long as 1.0515 support holds, rise from 0.9534 (2022 low) would still extend higher. Sustained break of 61.8% retracement of 1.2348 (2021 high) to 0.9534 at 1.1273 will solidify the case of bullish trend reversal and target 1.2348 resistance next (2021 high).

EUR/USD drops further to as low as 1.1163 so far in early US session. Intraday bias remains on the downside for retesting 1.1107 low. At this point, we’re not expecting a break there yet. Thus, focus will be on bottoming signals around 1.1107. Though, break of 1.1282 resistance is needed to signal completion of fall from 1.1412. Otherwise, further decline is in favor even in case of recovery.

In the bigger picture, on the one hand, 1.1107 is seen as a medium term bottom on bullish convergence condition in weekly MACD. On the other hand, rejection by 55 week EMA retains medium term bearishness. Outlook stays neutral for now. On the downside, break of 1.1107 will resume the down trend from 1.2555 (2018 high) to 78.6% retracement of 1.0339 to 1.2555 at 1.0813. Meanwhile, break of 1.1412 will resume the rebound to 38.2% retracement of 1.2555 to 1.1107 at 1.1660.

Intraday bias in EUR/USD remains neutral at this point as range trading continues. On the downside, break of 1.1431 will resume the fall from 1.1814. Intraday bias would then be turned back to the downside for retesting 1.1300 low next. In case of another recovery, upside should be limited by 1.1621 resistance to bring fall resumption eventually. However, break of 1.1621 will turn focus back to 1.1814 resistance instead.

EUR/USD Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.0506; (P) 1.0549 (R1) 1.0604; More

Range trading continues in EUR/USD and intraday bias remains neutral. In case of another recovery, upside should be limited by 1.0756 support turned resistance to bring fall resumption. On the downside, firm break of 1.0470 will resume larger down trend to 161.8% projection of 1.1494 to 1.0805 from 1.1184 at 1.0069.
