On the upside, break of 0.9237 will resume the rise form 0.8925 to 61.8% retracement of 0.9471 to 0.8925 at 0.9262. Sustained break there will pave the way to retest 0.9471 resistance. On the downside, however, sustained break of 4 hour 55 EMA (now at 0.9111) will bring retest of 0.8925 low instead.

In the bigger picture, medium term bearishness is neutralized by strong break of 55 week EMA. Focus is back on 0.9471 resistance. Sustained break there will indicate completion of whole decline from 1.0342 (2016 high). Medium term outlook will be turned bullish for a test on 1.0342 high.

Intraday bias in USD/CHF remains neutral for the moment and some consolidations could be seen first. Upside of recovery should be limited by 0.9762 resistance. On the downside, break of 0.9613 will resume larger down trend to 100% projection of 1.0237 to 0.9659 from 1.0023 at 0.9445. However, considering bullish convergence condition in 4 hour MACD, break of 0.9762 will indicate near term reversal and turn outlook bullish for stronger rebound to 55 day EMA (now at 0.9803).

In the bigger picture, medium term outlook remains neutral as USD/CHF is staying sideway trading started from 1.0342 (2016 high). Fall from 1.0237 is a leg inside the pattern and could target 0.9186 (2018 low). In case of another rise, break of 1.0237 is needed to indicate up trend resumption. Otherwise, more sideway trading would be seen with risk of another fall.

USD/CHF Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 0.8602; (P) 0.8622; (R1) 0.8639; More….

Intraday bias in USD/CHF remains neutral and outlook is unchanged. On the downside, below 0.8605 will resume the pull back from 0.8727 to 0.8487 support. Break there will argue that rebound from 0.8332 has completed, and bring retest of this low. On the upside, firm break of 0.8727 will resume the rebound to 61.8% retracement of 0.9243 to 0.8332 at 0.8995 instead.

In the bigger picture, while rebound from 0.8332 could be strong, there is no clear sign of medium term bottoming yet. This rebound is tentatively seen as a corrective move for now. Also, outlook will stay bearish as long as 0.9243 resistance holds. Larger down trend from 1.0146 (2022 high) should resume through 0.8332 low at a later stage.

Sustained trading above 55 day EMA (now at 0.9626) will pave the way back to 0.9901 resistance. Though, on the downside, break of 0.9376 will resume the fall from 0.9901 instead.

In the bigger picture, decline from 1.0237 is seen as the third leg of the pattern from 1.0342 (2016 low). It could have completed at 0.9181 after hitting 0.9186 key support (2018 low). Break of 0.9901 will extend the rebound form 0.9181 through 1.0023 resistance. After all, medium term range trading will likely continue between 0.9181/1.0237 for some more time.

USD/CHF Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 0.9938; (P) 0.9971; (R1) 1.0011; More

USD/CHF’s rally resumed after brief consolidation and intraday bias is back on the upside. Decisive break of 1.0063 will confirm larger up trend resumption. Next target is 1.0283 projection level. On the downside, below 0.9914 minor support will turn neutral bias neutral again first. But outlook will stay bullish as long as 0.9779 support holds.

In the bigger picture, current development suggests that up trend from 0.8756 (2021 low) is still in progress. Sustained break of 1.0063 will target 100% projection of 0.9149 to 1.0063 from 0.9369 at 1.0283, and then 1.0342 (2016 high). For now, this will remain the favored case as long as 0.9369 support holds, even in case of deep pull back.

Intraday bias in USD/CHF stays neutral at this point. With 0.9957 minor resistance intact, further decline is mildly in favor. Below 0.9900 will target 0.9856 support. Break there will pave the way to key support level at 0.9787. On the upside, above 0.9957 minor resistance will turn bias back to the upside for retesting 1.0067.

In the bigger picture, as long as 0.9787 support holds, we’re still favoring the bullish case. That is, rise fro 0.9787 is resuming the whole up trend from 0.9186 and should target 1.0342 key resistance on resumption. However, break of 0.9787 will indicate medium term reversal and turn outlook bearish.

In the bigger picture, medium term outlook remains neutral as USD/CHF is staying in range of 0.9659/1.0237. In any case, decisive break of 1.0237 is needed to indicate up trend resumption. Intraday bias in USD/CHF remain s neutral for the moment. On the upside, decisive break of 1.0119 resistance will suggest that decline from 1.0237 is merely a correction and has completed. Intraday bias will be turned back to the upside for retesting 1.0237. That will also retain medium term bullishness in the pair. On the downside, through, firm break of 1.0008 should pave the way to retest 0.9879 key support next.

In the bigger picture, USD/CHF is losing upside momentum ahead of 1.0342 key resistance (2016 high). There is no clear sign of reversal yet. But even in case of another rise, we’d be cautious on strong resistance from 1.0342 to limit upside. On the downside, break of 0.9879 support will suggest that larger rise from 0.9186 (2018 low) has completed. Deeper fall will be seen to 0.9716 support for confirmation.

Daily Pivots: (S1) 0.9587; (P) 0.9652; (R1) 0.9686; More…..

Intraday bias in USD/CHF remains on the downside for the moment. Deeper decline could be seen through 100% projection of 1.0342 to 0.9860 from 1.0099 at 0.9617. But we’d start to look for bottoming signal again as it approaches 0.9443 key support level. On the upside, above 0.9718 minor resistance will turn intraday bias neutral first. But near term outlook will stay bearish as long as 0.9807 resistance holds.

In the bigger picture, USD/CHF is still bounded in medium term range of 0.9443/1.0342 for the moment. Consolidative trading would likely continue and medium term outlook remains neutral. Break of 1.0342 key resistance is needed to confirm underlying bullish momentum in the pair. Meanwhile, downside attempts should be contained by 0.9443 key support level. However, sustained break of 0.9443 will carry larger bearish implication and target 0.9 handle.

For now, USD/CHF is seen as in long term range pattern between 0.9186 and 1.0342. Hence, we’d pay attention to bottoming signal below 0.9587. USD/CHF Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 0.9200; (P) 0.9221; (R1) 0.9239; More….

Intraday bias in USD/CHF remains neutral at this point. Corrective fall from 0.9273 should have completed at 0.9017. Above 0.9241 will target 0.9273 resistance. Firm break there will resume rise from 0.8925 to 100% projection of 0.8925 to 0.9273 from 0.9017 at 0.9365. However, break of 0.9128 will dampen this bullish view and turn bias back to the downside for 0.9017 support.

In the bigger picture, the failure to sustain above 55 week EMA (now at 0.9184) retains medium term bearish in USD/CHF. Break of 0.8925 support should resume the whole decline form 1.0342 (2016 high) through 0.8756 low. However, break of 0.9273 resistance and sustained trading above 55 week EMA will be an early sign of bullish trend reversal. Focus will then turn to 0.9471 resistance for confirmation.

USD/CHF Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 0.9801; (P) 0.9811; (R1) 0.9833; More

Intraday bias in USD/CHF is turned neutral with a temporary top formed at 0.9826. Focus says on 38.2% retracement of 1.0237 to 0.9613 at 0.9851 first. Decisive break there will add to the case of bullish near term reversal and target 61.8% retracement at 0.9999 next. Nevertheless, rejection by 0.9851, will indicate that fall from 1.0237 is not finished. Break of 0.9741 support will bring retest of 0.9613 low instead.

Daily Pivots: (S1) 0.9897; (P) 0.9917; (R1) 0.9945; More

Intraday bias in USD/CHF remains neutral as consolidation from 0.9854 is extending. In case of another recovery, upside should be limited by 1.0008 support turned resistance and bring fall resumption. On the downside, break of 0.9854 will extend the decline from 1.0237 to 0.9716 cluster support (50% retracement of 0.9186 to 1.0237 at 0.9712).

In the bigger picture, USD/CHF’s break of long term trend line support is the first indication of medium term reversal. Focus is now back on 0.9879 support. Sustained break should confirm that medium term up trend from 0.9186 has completed at 1.0237 already. Further fall should be seen to 0.9716 cluster support (50% retracement of 0.9186 to 1.0237 at 0.9712) next. Break will target 61.8% retracement at 0.9587.

USD/CHF Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 0.9091; (P) 0.9122; (R1) 0.9143; More….

Intraday bias in USD/CHF remains neutral as consolidation from 0.9084 is extending. Further decline is expected as long as 0.9174 resistance holds. Break of 0.9084 will resume the fall from 0.9367 to 0.9017 support, and then 0.8925. On the upside, however, break of 0.9174 resistance will indicate short term bottoming and turn bias back to the upside for stronger rebound instead.

In the bigger picture, the corrective structure of the rebound from 0.8925 argues that fall from 0.9471 is not complete yet. It could either be the second leg of pattern from 0.8756 (2021 low), or resuming larger down trend from 1.0237 (2018 high). We’d pay attention to the downside momentum and assess the odds later. But for now, medium term outlook will be neutral at best as long as 0.9471 resistance holds.

USD/CHF Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 0.8892; (P) 0.8925; (R1) 0.8945; More….

USD/CHF recovered quickly after a brief dip to 0.8886 and intraday bias remains neutral. Further decline is expected as long as 0.9000 resistance holds. Below 0.8886 will resume the fall from 0.9243 to 61.8% retracement of 0.8551 to 0.9243 at 0.8815 next. Sustained break there will pave the way to retest 0.8551 low. Nevertheless, break of 0.9000 will turn bias back to the upside for stronger rebound.

In the bigger picture, the firm break of 55 D EMA (now at 0.8974) argues that rebound from 0.8551 might be completed as a correction at 0.9243. In other words, larger fall from 1.0146 (2022 high) is possibly not over yet. Risk will now stay on the downside as long as 0.9243 resistance holds. Firm break of 0.8551 will confirm down trend resumption.

USD/CHF Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 0.8954; (P) 0.8978; (R1) 0.9001; More….

With 0.9046 resistance intact, further decline is expected in USD/CHF. Current fall from 0.9471 should target a test on 0.8756 low. However, break of 0.9046 resistance will now indicate short term bottoming. Intraday bias will be turned back to the upside for stronger rebound.

In the bigger picture, rejection by 61.8% retracement of 0.9901 to 0.8756 at 0.9464 argues that rebound from 0.8756 was probably just a corrective move. That is, larger down trend from 1.0237 might be still in progress. Medium term bearish is also affirmed as the pair is now far below falling 55 week EMA. Firm break of 0.8756 low will target 61.8% projection of 1.0237 to 0.8756 from 0.9471 at 0.8556 next.

USD/CHF Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 0.9971; (P) 0.9994; (R1) 1.0032; More…..

Intraday bias in USD/CHF remains on the downside for the moment. As noted before, rise from 0.9443 has completed at 1.0342 already, after failing to sustain above 1.0327 key resistance. Fall from there would now target 61.8% retracement of 0.9443 to 1.0342 at 0.9786 and below. On the upside, break of 1.0121 resistance is needed to indicate short term bottoming. Otherwise, near term outlook will stay bearish in case of recovery.

In the bigger picture, rejection from 1.0327 resistance suggests that consolidation pattern from there is still in progress. Fall from 1.0342 is seen as the third leg and retest of 0.9443/9548 support zone could be seen. But we’d expect strong support from there to contain downside. At this point, we’re still expect the larger rally to resume later to 38.2% retracement of 1.8305 to 0.7065 at 1.1359.
