USD/CHF Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 0.8998; (P) 0.9025; (R1) 0.9044; More….

Intraday bias in USD/CHF remains neutral and outlook is unchanged. On the downside, below 0.8952 will target a test on 0.8886 support first. Break there will resume whole decline from 0.9243 to 0.8815 fibonacci level. However, break of 0.9111 will resume the rebound from 0.8886 instead, and target 0.9243 resistance.

In the bigger picture, outlook is mixed up by the deeper than expected pull back from 0.9243. Yet there was no follow through selling after hitting 0.8886. On the upside, break of 0.9243 resistance will revive the case of medium term bottoming at 0.8851, and turn outlook bullish. However, sustained break of 61.8% retracement of 0.8551 to 0.9243 at 0.8815 will argue that larger decline from 1.0146 is ready to resume through 0.8551 low.

USD/CHF Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 0.9136; (P) 0.9153; (R1) 0.9169; More….

Outlook in USD/CHF is unchanged as range trading continues. Intraday bias remains neutral first. On the downside, break of 0.9098 will target 0.9017 support first. Further break there will likely resume the decline from 0.9471 through 0.8925 low. On the upside, break of 0.9241 resistance should resume the rise from 0.8925 through 0.927.

In the bigger picture, USD/CHF is still struggling around 55 week EMA (now at 0.9176) and outlook is mixed for now. Confirmed rejection by the 55 week EMA will retain medium term bearishness. That is, larger fall from 1.0342 would resume through 0.8756 low at a later stage. However, sustained trading above 55 week EMA will tilt favor to the case of bullish reversal. Focus would then be turned to 0.9471 resistance for confirmation.

USD/CHF Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 0.9037; (P) 0.9053; (R1) 0.9067; More….

Intraday bias in USD/CHF remains on the downside and outlook is unchanged. Rebound from 0.8925 should have completed at 0.9273. Deeper fall would be seen to retest 0.8925 low. On the upside, above 0.9116 support turned resistance will mix up the near term outlook and turn intraday bias neutral first.

In the bigger picture, failure to sustain above 55 week EMA (now at 0..9183) affirms medium term bearish in USD/CHF. Break of 0.8925 support should resume the whole decline form 1.0342 (2016 high) through 0.8756 low. For now, risk will stay on the downside as long as 0.9273 resistance holds, in case of rebound.

USD/CHF Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 0.9772; (P) 0.9799; (R1) 0.9817; More….

USD/CHF’s fall from 1.0037 is still in progress and intraday bias remains on he downside for 61.8% retracement of 0.9420 to 1.0037 at 0.9656. We’ll look for bottoming again below 0.9656 and above 0.9420. On the upside, break of 0.9946 resistance will indicate that the decline from 1.0037 has completed and bring retest of this resistance.

In the bigger picture, range trading continues between 0.9420/1.0342. At this point, 0.9420 appears to be a strong support level. Therefore, in case of decline attempt, we don’t expect a firm break of this level. Nonetheless, strong break of 1.0342 is also needed to confirm upside momentum. Otherwise, medium term outlook will stay neutral.

USD/CHF Daily Outlook

Intraday bias in USD/CHF remains neutral for consolidations below 0.90993 temporary top. On the upside, break of 0.9093 will resume the rise from 0.9756 to 100% projection of 0.8756 to 0.9044 from 0.8869 at 0.9127 next. However, break of 0.8869 will argue that the corrective rise from 0.8756 has completed, and turn outlook bearish again.

In the bigger picture, decline from 1.0237 is seen as the third leg of the pattern from 1.0342 (2016 high). There is no clear sign of completion yet. Next target will be 138.2% projection of 1.0342 to 0.9186 from 1.0237 at 0.8639. In any case, break of 0.9295 resistance is needed to signal medium term bottoming. Otherwise, outlook will remain bearish in case of rebound.

USD/CHF Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 0.9206; (P) 0.9229; (R1) 0.9261; More

Outlook in USD/CHF is unchanged and intraday bias stays neutral. On the upside, firm break of 0.92879 resistance will confirm short term bottoming at 0.9058, and bring stronger rise to 0.9407 resistance. On the downside, however, sustained break of 0.9058 will resume larger decline from 1.0146 instead.

In the bigger picture, rise from 0.8756 (2021 low) has completed at 1.0146, well ahead of 1.0342 long term resistance (2016 high). Based on current downside momentum, fall from 1.0146 should be a medium term down trend itself. Next target is a test on 0.8756 low. Strong support should be seen there to bring rebound. Still, further decline will now be expected as long as 0.9407 resistance holds, in any case.

USD/CHF Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 0.9669; (P) 0.9698; (R1) 0.9726; More

Intraday bias in USD/CHF remains neutral as range trading continues. On the downside, break of 0.9592 will bring deeper decline. But downside should be contained by 61.8% retracement of 0.9181 to 0.9901 at 0.9456 to rebound. On the upside, break of 0.9797 will bring retest of 0.9901 high.

In the bigger picture, decline from 1.0237 is seen as the third leg of the pattern from 1.0342 (2016 low). It could have completed at 0.9181 after hitting 0.9186 key support (2018 low). Break of 0.9901 will extend the rebound form 0.9181 through 1.0023 resistance. After all, medium term range trading will likely continue between 0.9181/1.0237 for some more time.

USD/CHF Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 0.9135; (P) 0.9162; (R1) 0.9185; More….

USD/CHF is still bounded in sideway trading and intraday bias remains neutral first. On the downside, break of 0.9098 will target 0.9017 support first. Further break there will likely resume the decline from 0.9471 through 0.8925 low. On the upside, break of 0.9241 resistance should resume the rise from 0.8925 through 0.927.

In the bigger picture, the failure to sustain above 55 week EMA (now at 0.9176) retains medium term bearishness in USD/CHF. Break of 0.8925 support should resume the whole decline form 1.0342 (2016 high) through 0.8756 low. However, break of 0.9273 resistance and sustained trading above 55 week EMA will be an early sign of bullish trend reversal. Focus will then turn to 0.9471 resistance for confirmation.

USD/CHF Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 0.9980; (P) 1.0007; (R1) 1.0047; More…..

Intraday bias in USD/CHF remains neutral for the moment. Near term outlook stays cautiously bullish as long as 0.9929 minor support holds. Fall from 1.0342 could have finished at 0.9860 already. Above 1.0118 will turn bias back to the upside for retesting 1.0342. However, break of 0.9929 will likely extend the decline from 1.0342 through 0.9860 low.

In the bigger picture, prior rejection from 1.0327 resistance argues that USD/CHF is staying in a medium term sideway pattern. In any case, decisive break of 1.0342 resistance is needed to confirm underlying strength. Otherwise, we’ll stay neutral in the pair first. In case of another fall, we’d expect strong support from 0.9443/9548 support zone. Meanwhile firm break of 1.0342 will target 38.2% retracement of 1.8305 to 0.7065 at 1.1359.

USD/CHF Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 0.9522; (P) 0.9591; (R1) 0.9632; More….

Intraday bias in USD/CHF remains on the downside for retesting 0.9437 low. Note again that the pair is bounded in medium falling channel and limited below 38.2% retracement of 1.0342 to 0.9437 at 0.9783. Break of 0.9427 will extend the whole decline from 1.0342 and carries larger bearish implications. On the upside, above 0.9661 minor resistance will turn intraday bias neutral again.

In the bigger picture, we’re slightly favoring the case that USD/CHF has successfully defended 0.9443 key support level. And long term range trading in 0.9443/1.0342 is extending with another rise. At this point, there is no sign of an up trend yet. Hence, while further rise is expected in USD/CHF, we’ll start to be cautious on loss of momentum above 61.8% retracement of 1.0342 to 0.9437 at 0.9996. However, firm break of 0.9443 will carry larger bearish implication and would target next key support at 0.9072.

USD/CHF Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 0.8498; (P) 0.8518; (R1) 0.8528; More….

USD/CHF is still extending the consolidation from 0.8332 and intraday bias remains neutral. Stronger recovery cannot be ruled out. But outlook will stay bearish as long as 0.8665 support turned resistance holds. On the downside, break of 0.8332 will resume larger fall from 0.9243 to 0.8257 projection level.

In the bigger picture, the down trend from 1.0146 (2022 high) is in progress. Next target is 61.8% retracement of 1.0146 to 0.8551 from 0.9243 at 0.8257. Sustained break there could prompt downside acceleration to 100% projection at 0.7648. This will now remain the favored case as long as 0.8819 resistance holds.

USD/CHF Weekly Outlook

USD/CHF edged higher to 0.9970 last week but reversed from there. Initial bias is neutral this week with focus on 0.9841 support. Break there will complete a head and shoulder top pattern (ls: 0.9983; h: 1.0027; rs: 0.9970). That should indicate complete of whole rise from 0.9659 and turn outlook bearish for retesting this low. On the upside, above 0.9970 will bring retest of 1.0027 resistance instead.

In the bigger picture, medium term outlook remains neutral as USD/CHF is staying in range of 0.9659/1.0237. In any case, decisive break of 1.0237 is needed to indicate up trend resumption. Otherwise, more sideway trading would be seen with risk of another fall. Meanwhile, break of 0.9695 support will target 0.9541 support instead.

In the long term picture, price actions from 0.7065 (2011 low) are not clearly impulsive yet. Thus, we’ll treat it as developing into a corrective pattern, at least, until a firm break of 1.0342 resistance.

USD/CHF Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 0.9087; (P) 0.9118; (R1) 0.9143; More….

Intraday bias in USD/CHF stays on the downside for the moment. On the downside, firm break of 0.9084/0.9101 support zone will argue that choppy rise from 0.8925 has completed. Fall from 0.9471 might be ready to resuming. Further decline would be seen back to 0.8925 support first. On the upside, above 0.9147 minor resistance will turn intraday bias neutral first.

In the bigger picture, the corrective structure of the rebound from 0.8925 argues that fall from 0.9471 is not complete yet. It could either be the second leg of pattern from 0.8756 (2021 low), or resuming larger down trend from 1.0237 (2018 high). We’d pay attention to the downside momentum and assess the odds later. But for now, medium term outlook will be neutral at best as long as 0.9471 resistance holds.

USD/CHF Weekly Outlook

USD/CHF’s fall from 1.1046 resumed by breaching 0.9325 last week. Immediate focus is now on 0.9287 fibonacci level this week. Decisive break there will target 0.9149 structural support next. On the upside, though, break of 0.9454 resistance will now indicate short term bottoming. Intraday bias will be turned back to the upside for 0.9545 resistance and above.

In the bigger picture, rise from 0.8756 (2021 low) has completed at 1.0146, well ahead of 1.0342 long term resistance (2016 high). Based on current downside momentum, fall from 1.0146 might be a medium term down trend itself. Sustained break of 61.8% retracement of 0.8756 to 1.0146 at 0.9287 will pave the way to 0.8756. In any case, risk will stay on the downside as long as 55 day EMA (now at 0.9630) holds.

In the long term picture, long term sideway pattern from 1.0342 (2016 high) is extending and it’s probably in another medium term down leg. Downside will likely be contained by 0.8756 support in case of deeper fall. Overall, range trading should continue until further development.

USD/CHF Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 0.9854; (P) 0.9906; (R1) 0.9934; More

The break of 0.9900 support indicates resumption of fall from 1.0067. Intraday bias is turned to the downside for 0.9856 support first. Break will target 0.9787 and below. For now, USD/CHF is seen as in consolidation from 1.0056 with fall from 1.0067 as the third leg. Downside should be contained by 38.2% retracement of 0.9186 to 1.0056 at 0.9724 to bring rebound. On the upside, break of 0.9977 resistance is needed to indicate completion of the decline. Otherwise, near term outlook is mildly bearish in case of recovery.

In the bigger picture, current development suggests that the consolidation pattern from 1.0056 is extending with another leg. As long as 38.2% retracement of 0.9186 to 1.0056 at 0.9724 holds, we’d expect rise from 0.9186 to resume at a later stage to retest 1.0342 key resistance (2016 high). However, sustained break of 0.9724 will bring deeper fall, as another declining leg in the long term range pattern.

USD/CHF Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 0.0.9863; (P) 0.9894; (R1) 0.9955; More

Intraday bias in USD/CHF remains on the upside for the moment. Current rise from 0.9541 should target 1.0067 resistance next. On the downside, break of 0.9822 support is needed to indicate short term topping. Otherwise, near term outlook will remain bullish in case of retreat.

In the bigger picture, the pullback from 1.0067 has completed at 0.9541 already. And rise from 0.9186 is likely resuming. Firm break of 1.0067 will pave the way to retest 1.0342 key resistance. We’d be cautious on strong resistance from there to limit upside to bring another medium term fall to extend long term range trading.

USD/CHF Weekly Outlook

USD/CHF stayed in range above 0.8818 last week and outlook is unchanged. Initial bias stays neutral this week first. on the upside, firm break of 0.8993 resistance will confirm short term bottoming, on bullish convergence condition in 4H MACD. Intraday bias will be turned back to the upside for 55 D EMA (now at 0.9052) and possibly above. In case of another fall, strong support should be seen from 61.8% projection of 1.0146 to 0.9058 from 0.9439 at 0.8767, which is close to 0.8756 long term support, to bring rebound.

In the bigger picture, fall from 1.1046 (2022 high) is seen as a leg in the long term range pattern from 1.0342 (2016 high). So, downside should be contained by 0.8756 to bring reversal. Sustained break of 0.9058 support turned resistance will be the first sign of medium term bottoming. However, decisive break of 0.8756 will carry larger bearish implications.

In the long term picture, long term sideway pattern from 1.0342 (2016 high) is expected to continue between 0.8756/1.0342. However, sustained break of 0.8756 will open up deeper fall back towards 0.7065 (2011 low).

USD/CHF Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 0.8733; (P) 0.8747; (R1) 0.8763; More….

Intraday bias in USD/CHF remains mildly on the upside despite loss of momentum. Rise from 0.8332 should target 61.8% retracement of 0.9243 to 0.8332 at 0.8995. On the downside, below 0.8687 minor support will turn intraday bias neutral first. But near term outlook will stay cautiously bullish as long as 0.8550 support holds.

In the bigger picture, there is prospect of medium term bottoming at 0.8332 considering possible bullish convergence condition in W MACD, and the support from 0.8317 long term fibonacci support. Sustained trading above 55 D EMA (now at 0.8681) will affirm this case, and bring stronger rise back towards 0.9243 resistance, even as a corrective move.

USD/CHF Weekly Outlook

USD/CHF edged lower to 0.8998 last week but recovered since then. Upside is still limited by 0.9161 resistance and thus outlook stays bearish. Break of 0.8998 support will resume larger down trend to 100% projection of 1.0237 to 0.9181 from 0.9901 at 0.8845. However, sustained break of 0.9161 will confirm short term bottoming, and turn bias to the upside for stronger rebound, to 55 day EMA (now at 0.9232) and above.

In the bigger picture, decline from 1.0237 is seen as the third leg of the pattern from 1.0342 (2016 low), which is still extending. Sustained trading below 100% projection of 1.0342 to 0.9186 from 1.0237 at 0.9081 will pave the way to 138.2% projection at 0.8639. On the upside, break of 0.9376 resistance is needed to be the first sign of medium term bottoming.

In the long term picture, price actions from 0.7065 (2011 low) are not clearly impulsive yet. Thus, we’ll treat it as developing into a corrective pattern, at least, until a firm break of 1.0342 resistance.

USD/CHF Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 0.9535; (P) 0.9559; (R1) 0.9590; More….

Intraday bias in USD/CHF remains neutral for the moment. On the downside, firm break of 0.9527 minor support will turn bias to the downside for retesting 0.9427 first. Break of 0.9427 will resume whole decline from 1.3042. Meanwhile, considering it’s close to to 0.9443 key support, consolidation from 0.9427 might extend further. But still, break of 0.9772 resistance is needed to confirm near term reversal. Otherwise, outlook stays bearish for another decline.

In the bigger picture, current development suggests that 0.9443 key support (2016 low) could be taken out firmly as down trend form 1.0342 extends. There are various interpretation of the price actions. But in any case, medium term outlook will stay bearish as long as 0.9772 resistance holds. Current down trend could extend to 38.2% retracement of 0.7065 (2011 low) to 1.0342 (2016 high) at 0.9090. However, break of 0.9772 will indicate that USD/CHF has successfully defended 0.9443 again and turn outlook bullish for 1.0099 resistance.
