USD/CHF Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 0.9104; (P) 0.9134; (R1) 0.9173; More

Intraday bias in USD/CHF is turned neutral first with current recovery. Outlook is unchanged that fall from 0.9439 is probably resuming larger decline from 1.1046. Decisive break of 0.9070 will confirm this bearish case and target 61.8% projection of 1.0146 to 0.9058 from 0.9439 at 0.8767. However, break of 0.9219 resistance will turn bias back to the upside, and extend the corrective pattern from 0.9058 with another rising leg.

In the bigger picture, fall from 1.1046 (2022 high) is should still be in progress with 38.2% retracement of 1.0146 to 0.9058 at 0.9474 intact. Rejection by 55 week EMA is also a medium term bearish sign. Break of 0.9058 will resume such decline towards 0.8756 support (2021 low). But overall, such fall is still as a leg in the long term range pattern from 1.0342 (2016 high). So, downside should be contained by 0.8756 to bring reversal. For now, this will remain the favored case as long as 0.9439 resistance holds.

USD/CHF Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 0.9618; (P) 0.9662; (R1) 0.9730; More

Intraday bias in USD/CHF remains neutral and outlook is unchanged. On the upside, break of 0.9731 will argue that the consolidation from 1.0063 has completed and bring stronger rally back to retest 1.0063 high. However, another fall below 0.9493 will dampen this view and target 0.9459 resistance turned support.

In the bigger picture, down trend from 1.0342 (2016 high) should have completed with three waves down to 0.8756 (2021 low) already. Rise from 0.8756 is likely a medium term up trend of its own. Next target is 1.0237/0342 resistance zone. This will remain the favored case as long as 0.9471 resistance turned support holds. However, sustained break of 0.9471 will extend long term range trading with another falling leg.

Daily Pivots: (S1) 0.9379; (P) 0.9419; (R1) 0.9449; More….

USD/CHF edged higher to 0.9459 but quickly retreated. Intraday bias remains neutral and more consolidations could be seen. But downside should be contained by 0.9318 support to bring another rally. On the upside, above 0.9459 will target 0.9471 resistance first. Break there will resume whole rally from 0.8756 to 61.8% projection of 0.8756 to 0.9471 from 0.9090 at 0.9532.

In the bigger picture, medium term outlook will be neutral at best as long as 0.9471 resistance holds. Larger down trend could still extend through 0.8756 (2021 low). However, firm break of 0.9471 will argue that whole down trend form 1.0342 (2016 high), has completed with waves down to 0.8756. A medium term up trend should be set up to target 1.0237/0342 resistance zone.

USD/CHF Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 0.8959; (P) 0.8980; (R1) 0.9018; More

Intraday bias in USD/CHF stays neutral as range trading continues and outlook is unchanged. On the downside, break of 0.8900 will resume the fall from 0.9146 to 0.8818 low or below. But for now, strong support is still expected from 0.8756 long term support to bring rebound. On the upside, above 0.9011 will bring stronger rise towards 0.9146 resistance.

In the bigger picture, fall from 1.1046 (2022 high) is seen as a leg in the long term range pattern from 1.0342 (2016 high), which might have completed at 0.8818 already, just ahead of 0.8756 long term support. Sustained trading above 0.9058 support turned resistance should confirm medium term bottoming.

USD/CHF Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 0.9304; (P) 0.9326; (R1) 0.9363; More

Intraday bias in USD/CHF remains on the upside at this point. Current rebound from 0.9058 should target 38.2% retracement of 1.0146 to 0.9058 at 0.9474. On the downside, below 0.9289 minor support will turn intraday bias neutral first.

In the bigger picture, decline from 1.0146 is seen as part of a long term sideway pattern. As long as 38.2% retracement of 1.0146 to 0.9058 at 0.9474 holds, another fall is in favor through 0.9058. However, sustained trading above 0.9474 will indicate that the medium term trend has reversed, and open up further rally to 1.0146 again.

USD/CHF Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 0.9722; (P) 0.9742; (R1) 0.9774; More….

Intraday bias in USD/CHF remains neutral at this point. Considering bearish divergence condition in 4 hour MACD, break of 0.9704 resistance turned support will argue that rebound from 0.9420 has completed. This will also mixed up the near term outlook and turn bias back to the downside for 0.9587 support. Meanwhile, break of 0.9835 temporary top will extend the rebound to 61.8% retracement of 1.0342 to 0.9420 at 0.9990.

In the bigger picture, current development suggests that USD/CHF has defended 0.9443 (2016 low) key support level again. Rise from 0.9420 could develop into a medium term move and target a test on 1.0342 high. This represents the upper end of a long term range that started back in 2015. On the downside, break of 0.9587 support is now needed to indicate completion of the rise from 0.9420. Otherwise, further rally will remain in favor in medium term.

USD/CHF Daily Chart

USD/CHF Weekly Outlook

USD/CHF drew support from 55 4H EMA last week and it’s now back pressing 0.8818/26 resistance zone. Decisive break there will carry larger bullish implication, and target 0.9146 cluster resistance next. However, break of 0.8688 support will indicate rejection by 0.8818, and turn bias back to the downside for retesting 0.8551 low.

In the bigger picture, a medium term bottom could be in place at 0.8551 already, on bullish convergence condition in D MACD. Sustained trading above 0.8818 support turned resistance will bring further rise to 0.9146 cluster resistance (38.2% retracement of 1.0146 to 0.8551 at 0.9160), even as a correction. Nevertheless, break of 0.8851 will resume the down trend from 1.0146 instead.

In the long term picture, there is no clear sign that down trend from 1.8305 (2000 high) has completed. With 38.2% retracement of 1.8305 to 0.7065 at 1.1359 intact, outlook is neutral at best. Sustained break of 61.8% retracement of 0.7065 (2011 low) to 1.0342 (2016 high) at 0.8317 will bring retest of 0.7065 low.

USD/CHF Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 0.8912; (P) 0.8930; (R1) 0.8959; More

Intraday bias in USD/CHF stays on the downside. Deeper decline could be seen to 0.8818 and possibly below. But strong support is still expected from 0.8756 to bring reversal. On the upside, above 0.8983 minor resistance will turn intraday bias neutral first.

USD/CHF Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 0.8786; (P) 0.8833; (R1) 0.8919; More….

Intraday bias in USD/CHF remains on the upside at this point. Current rally from 0.8332 should target 100% projection of 0.8332 to 0.8727 from 0.8550 at 0.8954. Firm break there will pave the way to 161.8% projection at 0.9189. On the downside, below 0.8754 minor support will turn intraday bias neutral first. But retreat should be contained above 0.8550 support to bring another rally.

In the bigger picture, a medium term bottom should be formed at 0.8332, on bullish convergence condition in W MACD, just ahead of 0.8317 long term fibonacci support, on bullish convergence condition in W MACD. It’s still early to decide if the larger down trend from 1.0146 (2022 high) is reversing. But further rise should be seen to 0.9243 resistance even as a correction.

USD/CHF Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 0.9635; (P) 0.9669; (R1) 0.9722; More….

USD/CHF’s rally continues today and intraday bias remains on the upside. Current up trend should target next medium term projection level at 0.9864. On the downside, below 0.9669 minor support will turn intraday bias neutral and bring consolidations. But downside of retreat should be contained above 0.9459 resistance turned support to bring another rally.

In the bigger picture, down trend from 1.0342 (2016 high) should have completed with three waves down to 0.8756 (2021 low) already. Rise from 0.8756 is likely a medium term up trend of its own. Next target is 100% projection of 0.8756 to 0.9471 from 0.9149 at 0.9864. This will now remain the favored case as long as 0.9459 resistance turned support holds.

USD/CHF Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 0.9007; (P) 0.9018; (R1) 0.9029; More….

USD/CHF is staying below 0.9070 resistance despite current recovery. Intraday bias remains neutral first. Nevertheless, further rally is expected as long as 0.8964 support holds. Firm break of 0.9070 will resume larger rise from 0.8332 towards 0.9243 key resistance next.

In the bigger picture, price actions from 0.8332 medium term bottom as tentatively seen as developing into a corrective pattern to the down trend from 1.0146 (2022 high). Further rise would be seen as long as 0.8728 support holds. But upside should be limited by 0.9243 resistance, at least on first attempt.

USD/CHF Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 0.9965; (P) 1.0026; (R1) 1.0062; More

Intraday bias in USD/CHF remains on the downside as the correction from 1.0128 might extend through 38.2% retracement of 0.9541 to 1.0128 at 0.9904. In that case, focus will be on 0.9848 structural support. On the upside, above 1.0006 minor resistance will indicate that the pull back has completed. Intraday bias will be turned back to the upside for retesting 1.0128 high.

In the bigger picture, the pullback from 1.0067 has completed at 0.9541 already. And rise from 0.9186 is likely resuming. Firm break of 1.0067 will pave the way to retest 1.0342 key resistance. We’d be cautious on strong resistance from there to limit upside to bring another medium term fall to extend long term range trading. However, break of 0.9848 near term support will dampen this view and bring deeper decline back to 0.9541 support and possibly below.

USD/CHF Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 0.9599; (P) 0.9618; (R1) 0.9638; More

Intraday bias in USD/CHF remains neutral for the moment. Focus stays on 0.9626 key fibonacci resistance. Sustained trading above this level will be another evidence of larger reversal. In that case, further rally should be seen back to next fibonacci level at 0.9900. On the downside, though, break of 0.9533 minor support should indicate rejection by 0.9626. Further break of 0.9432 will turn near term outlook bearish for retesting 0.9186 low.

In the bigger picture, fall from 1.0342 is seen as a medium term down trend. Main focus is on 38.2% retracement of 1.0342 (2016 high) to 0.9186 (2018 low) at 0.9626. Sustained break there will add to the case of trend reversal and target 61.8% retracement at 0.9900 and above. However, rejection from 0.9626 will maintain medium term bearishness for another low below 0.9186.

USD/CHF Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 0.9167; (P) 0.9204; (R1) 0.9240; More….

Range trading continues in USD/CHF and intraday bias remains neutral. Choppy rise from 0.8925 would still be in favor to extend higher as long as 0.9090 support holds. Break of 0.9341 will target 0.9372 resistance and then 0.9471. On the downside, however, break of 0.9090 will bring deeper fall back to 0.8925 support.

In the bigger picture, medium term outlook will be neutral at best as long as 0.9471 resistance holds. Larger down trend could still extend through 0.8756 (2021 low). However, firm break of 0.9471 will argue that the trend has already reversed and rebound the rally from 0.8756 with another impulsive move.

USD/CHF Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 0.8731; (P) 0.8746; (R1) 0.8762; More….

Intraday bias in USD/CHF remains neutral as range trading continues. Another fall is in favor as long as 0.8769 minor resistance holds. Below 0.8665 will resume the decline from 0.9243 to 161.8% projection of 0.9243 to 0.8886 from 0.9111 at 0.8533, which is close to 0.8551 low. However, break of 0.8769 minor resistance should indicate short term bottoming, and turn bias back to the upside for stronger recovery to 0.8886 support turned resistance.

In the bigger picture, price actions from 0.8551 are currently seen as part of a corrective pattern to the decline from 1.0146 (2022 high). Fall from 0.9243 is seen as the second leg for now. Deeper decline could be seen to 0.8551 low but strong support should be seen there to bring rebound. For now, this will remain the favored case as long as 0.8886 support turned resistance holds.

USD/CHF Mid-Day Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 0.8992; (P) 0.9017; (R1) 0.9053; More….

Intraday bias in USD/CHF stays neutral as range trading continues. On the downside, below 0.8952 will target a test on 0.8886 support first. Break there will resume whole decline from 0.9243 to 0.8815 fibonacci level. However, break of 0.9111 will resume the rebound from 0.8886 instead, and target 0.9243 resistance.

In the bigger picture, outlook is mixed up by the deeper than expected pull back from 0.9243. Yet there was no follow through selling after hitting 0.8886. On the upside, break of 0.9243 resistance will revive the case of medium term bottoming at 0.8851, and turn outlook bullish. However, sustained break of 61.8% retracement of 0.8551 to 0.9243 at 0.8815 will argue that larger decline from 1.0146 is ready to resume through 0.8551 low.

USD/CHF Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 0.9206; (P) 0.9225; (R1) 0.9262; More….

Intraday bias in USD/CHF remains neutral as sideway trading continues. On the upside, break of 0.9274 will suggest that the pull back from 0.9372 is finished. Intraday bias will be turned back to the upside for 0.9372. On the downside, below 0.9156 will target 0.9084 support. Firm break there should confirm that choppy rise from 0.8925 has completed, and suggests that fall from 0.9471 is resuming. Deeper decline would be seen through 0.8925.

In the bigger picture, the corrective structure of the rebound from 0.8925 argues that fall from 0.9471 is not complete yet. It could either be the second leg of pattern from 0.8756 (2021 low), or resuming larger down trend from 1.0237 (2018 high). We’d pay attention to the downside momentum and assess the odds later. But for now, medium term outlook will be neutral at best as long as 0.9471 resistance holds.

USD/CHF Weekly Outlook

USD/CHF’s fall from 0.9372 continued last week but turned sideway after hitting 0.9156. Initial bias is neutral this week first. On the downside, below 0.9156 will target 0.9084 support. Firm break there should confirm that choppy rise from 0.8925 has completed, and suggests that fall from 0.9471 is resuming. Deeper decline would be seen through 0.8925. Nevertheless, break of 0.9271 will turn bias back to the upside for retesting 0.9372.

In the long term picture, price actions from 0.7065 (2011 low) are currently seen as developing into a long term corrective pattern, at least until a firm break of 1.0342 resistance.

USD/CHF Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.0018; (P) 1.0036; (R1) 1.0070; More

Despite diminishing upside momentum, intraday bias in USD/CHF stays on the upside with 0.9982 minor support holds. Current rise should extend to 1.0342 key resistance next. On the downside, though, below 0.9982 minor support will indicate short term topping, on bearish divergence condition in 4 hour MACD. And, in that case, deeper retreat could be seen, possibly to trend line support (now at 0.9748) before staging another rally.

In the bigger picture, medium term decline from 1.0342 has completed with three waves down to 0.9186. Rise from there is currently viewed as a leg inside the long term range pattern. Hence, while further rally would be seen, we’d be cautious on strong resistance from 1.0342 to limit upside. For now, further rise is expected as long as 0.9648 resistance turned support holds, even in case of pull back.

USD/CHF Weekly Outlook

USD/CHF edged higher to 0.9374 last week but turned into consolidation last week. Initial bias stays neutral this week first. On the downside, break of 0.9233 will bring deeper correction. But overall outlook will stay bullish as long as 0.9044 resistance turned support holds. On the upside, above 0.9321 minor resistance will bring retest of 0.9374 high.

In the bigger picture, current development argues that fall from 1.0237 has completed at 0.8756, on bullish condition in daily and weekly MACD. Current rally from 0.8756 should target 0.9901 resistance first. Break there will target 1.0237/0342 resistance zone in the medium term. This will now remain the favored case as long as 0.9044 resistance turned support holds.

In the long term picture, price actions from 0.7065 (2011 low) are currently seen as developing into a long term corrective pattern, at least until a firm break of 1.0342 resistance.
