Japanese Yen Trading Lower, Ahead Of Crucial Economic Data

For the 24 hours to 23:00 GMT, the USD declined 0.28% against the JPY and closed at 111.69.

In the Asian session, at GMT0300, the pair is trading at 111.99, with the USD trading 0.27% higher against the JPY from yesterday’s close.

The pair is expected to find support at 111.74, and a fall through could take it to the next support level of 111.48. The pair is expected to find its first resistance at 112.18, and a rise through could take it to the next resistance level of 112.36.

Looking forward, investors would await the Bank of Japan’s (BoJ) interest rate decision along with Japan’s trade balance data for August, both set to release overnight.

The currency pair is showing convergence with its 20 Hr and 50 Hr moving averages.
