LME Copper prices rose 0.9% or $51.0/MT to $5,747.0/MT. Aluminium prices climbed 1.0% or $17.5/MT to $1,707.0/MT.

In the Asian session, at GMT0400, the pair is trading at 0.6721, with the AUD trading 0.19% lower against the USD from yesterday’s close.

Overnight data revealed that Australia’s consumer inflation expectations climbed to 4.0% in February, compared to a rate of 4.7% in the prior month.

The pair is expected to find support at 0.6702, and a fall through could take it to the next support level of 0.6683. The pair is expected to find its first resistance at 0.6745, and a rise through could take it to the next resistance level of 0.6769.

The currency pair is trading below its 20 Hr moving average and showing convergence with its 50 Hr moving average.
