USD/JPY Weekly Outlook
Despite much volatility last week, USD/JPY's fall from 151.89 is still in progress. But as a temporary low was formed at 140.94, initial bias is neutral this week first for consolidations. Upside should be limited well below 146.58 resistance to bring another decline. Break of 140.94 will target next fibonacci level at 136.63.
In the bigger picture, fall from 151.89 is seen as the third leg of the corrective pattern from 151.93 (2022 high). Deeper decline would be seen to 61.8% retracement of 127.20 to 151.89 at 136.63, sustained break there will pave the way to 127.20 support (2022 low). This will now remain the favored as long as 146.58 resistance holds.
In the long term picture, as long as 125.85 resistance turned support holds (2015 high), up trend from 75.56 (2011 low) is still in favor to continue through 151.93 (2022 high) at a later stage.
GBP/USD Weekly Outlook
GBP/USD's rise from 1.2036 resumed last week and edged higher to 1.2793. But with subsequent retreat, initial bias stays neutral this week for consolidations first. Outlook will stay bullish as long as 1.2499 support holds. On the upside, break of 1.2793 will resume the rally to 61.8% projection of 1.2068 to 1.2731 from 1.2499 at 1.2909.
In the bigger picture, price actions from 1.3141 medium term top are seen as a corrective pattern to rise from 1.0351 (2022 low). Rise from 1.2036 is seen as the second leg that's in progress. Upside should be limited by 1.3141 to bring the third leg of the pattern. Meanwhile, break of 1.2499 support will argue that the third leg has already started for 38.2% retracement of 1.0351 (2022 low) to 1.3141 at 1.2075 again.
In the long term picture, a long term bottom should be in place at 1.0351 on bullish convergence condition in M MACD. But momentum of the rebound from 1.3051 argues GBP/USD is merely in consolidation, rather than trend reversal. Range trading is likely between 1.0351/4248 for some more time.

Strong support should be seen 0.8551 to bring rebound. Meanwhile, break of 0.9111 resistance will argue that the third leg has started already, and target 0.9243.
In the long term picture, there is no clear sign that down trend from 1.8305 (2000 high) has completed. With 38.2% retracement of 1.8305 to 0.7065 at 1.1359 intact, outlook is neutral at best.
