GBP/JPY Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 144.45; (P) 144.87; (R1) 145.12; More...

Intraday bias remains neutral and near term outlook stays bearish in GBP/JPY with 145.99 resistance intact. On the downside, break of 144.02 will resume the fall from 149.48 and target 139.39/47 key support zone. On the upside, above 145.99 support turned resistance could bring stronger rebound. But near tem outlook will be neutral at best as long as 149.70 key resistance holds.

In the bigger picture, as long as 139.29 cluster support (50% retracement of 122.36 to 156.59 at 139.47) holds, up trend from 122.36 (2016 low) would still extend beyond 156.69 high. However, decisive break of 139.29/47 will suggest that such up trend is completed and turn outlook bearish. In that case, next target is 61.8% retracement at 135.43.

EUR/JPY Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 128.18; (P) 128.73; (R1) 129.04; More....

Intraday bias in EUR/JPY remains neutral at this point and more sideway trading could be seen. While another rise cannot be ruled out, near term outlook will remain bearish as long as 130.14 resistance holds. On the downside, break of 127.83 minor support should resume the fall fro 130.14 and target 126.63 low. Break will extend the decline from 133.12 to 124.08/89 support zone. On the upside, however, break of 130.14 will resume the rebound from 126.63 towards 133.12 resistance.

In the bigger picture, as long as 124.08 key resistance turn supported holds, larger up trend from 109.03 (2016 low) is still in progress. Firm break of 137.49 structural resistance will target 141.04/149.76 resistance zone next. However, decisive break of 124.08 will argue that such rise from 109.03 has completed and turn outlook bearish. In that case, deeper fall would be seen to 61.8% retracement of 109.03 to 137.49 at 119.90.

EUR/GBP Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 0.8851; (P) 0.8889; (R1) 0.8916; More...

Intraday bias in EUR/GBP remains neutral at this point. On the upside, firm break of 0.8939 resistance will confirm completion of the fall from 0.9098 and turn outlook bullish for this resistance. On the downside, below 0.8810 will turn bias to the downside for 0.8655 low instead.

In the bigger picture, EUR/GBP is seen as staying in long term range pattern started at 0.9304 (2016 high). Sustained break of 0.8939 resistance will confirm that it's in a medium term rising leg for 0.9098 and above. And for now, in case of another fall, downside will likely be contained by 0.8620/55 support zone to bring rebound.

EUR/AUD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.5430; (P) 1.5507; (R1) 1.5551; More....

EUR/AUD's decline accelerates to as low as 1.5397 so far and intraday bias stays on the downside. Current fall from 1.6357 should target 1.5271/5313 cluster support zone next. On the upside, above 1.5505 minor resistance will turn intraday bias neutral and bring consolidation. But recovery should be limited below 1.5781 resistance to bring fall resumption.

In the bigger picture, current development argues that up trend from 1.3624 (2017 low) is possibly completed at 1.6357, ahead of 1.6587 (2015 high). This is supported by bearish divergence condition in weekly MACD. Deeper decline is now in favor to 1.5271 cluster support (38.2% retracement of 1.3624 to 1.6357 at 1.5313). Break will target 61.8% retracement at 1.4668. This will remain the favored case as long as 1.5781 resistance holds.

EUR/CHF Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.1282; (P) 1.1322; (R1) 1.1347; More...

Intraday bias in EUR/CHF remains neutral at this point. As long as 1.1356 resistance holds, near term outlook stays cautiously bearish and fall from 1.1501 is in favor to continue. On the downside, break of 1.1260 will target 1.1173 low. On the upside, firm break of 1.1356 resistance will argue that the pull back from 1.1501 has completed at 1.1260. In that case, further rise would be seen back to retest 1.1501.

In the bigger picture, price actions from 1.2004 medium term top is seen as a correction only. Downside should be contained by support zone of 1.1198 (2016 high) and 61.8% retracement of 1.0629 to 1.2004 at 1.1154 to complete it and bring rebound. A break of 1.2 key resistance is still expected in the medium term long term. However, sustained break of the mentioned support zone will mark reversal of the long term trend. In that case, 1.0629 key support will be back into focus.
